I have been looking at the weekly series since i joined up here and am very interested. but i dont know where to buy a "MaxDrive". I have never heard of them until now and dont have any idea where to buy them or how much they cost. if someone could let me know thatd be great :)

tell us where you live, and we can find a place near you who has them 👍

fasj was mentioning that if you have a chipped PS2, you can run copied Max Drive discs and use generic flash drives?

I have both, but for some reason I get errors writing to the drive when using the OEM Max Drive disk. I can write to the flash drive no problem saving photos so I know that the PS2 recognizes it...

Any ideas? I have a real Max Drive USB stick, but I'd like to be able to do more than 16 megs if need be...

I had to get mine through our local version of E-Bay.

My 'games' store (Electronics Boutique would you believe!) had never heard of it!

Same for my EB Games

got mine from

www.play-asia.com 👍

Funnily enough, my local E.B did have one, for the low-low price of 85$! To put that in perspective, I could have almost brought 3 off play-asia for that price...

Got mine on eBay, but I got the Sharkport, because it was cheaper.

I got mine from Play.com for 10UKP delivered which I thought was very good value....

Just need to remember to use it now and send Flat-out some replays....havent forgotton Cyril...think its the dreaded "Will I manage to get the right replay to my pc scenario"...one of the Maxdrives downsides...
