Where to find used DVD's?

Just try any of your local movie stores. I know there's this little outlet just outside my apartment that regularily has a 2 for 1 DVD used Movie deal. It's great I got 3 newer DVD's used for about 34 bucks Canadian. Can't beat that.
Just gotta look around and do some research. I'm sure megaconglomerates like Blockbuster, sells off there used DVD's too.

Most, if not all, movie rental stores sell used DVD's. They buy a bunch when a movie first comes out then only keep a few for the "old" section. The rest they have to dump. I picked up Final Fantasy VIII one month after it came out for $10 (It was still $50 in the stores). Just make sure that you can return it if there are scratches.

What is the problem using eBay? I've bought many movies off of there. Most of the time you can get brand new ones for $10 or less. Using eBay shouldn't be a problem as long as you have some basic knowledge and common sense, which you must have running a successful site like this. 👍

Even Blockbuster is lowering their used DVD prices to reasonable...Canada and US.

I use eBay sometimes as well. Also don't forget its' sister site, half.com. Pretty reasonable pricing most of the time. Just like eBay, you have to watch the sellers' feedback record, but they do have a set shipping fee(media mail).
Locally, I raid the Blockbuster and Hollywood video shops for deals like 3 DVDs for $30 or buy two DVDs and get one DVD free. Some pawn shops and used record shops carry pretty good selection of used DVDs also. I've noticed, people are kind of proud of used DVDs these days.
P.S. Just last week, I needed to trim my collection(around 450 DVDs, I don't even own a house
), so I made a printout of the list, sold them between $4 -$8. Out of 40 or so DVDs, over 30 sold within a day to my friends and coworkers.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I only excluded eBay and Amazon because I was already very familiar with them, and wanted to hear some new alternatives people may suggest. I don't really know why I couldn't think of half.com - that's a really great site. Used DVD's are great, as I can't justify spending any money on them with the two new HD formats right around the corner...

Also, it's not a used DVD site, but www.deepdiscountdvd.com is not a bad place to buy from. From my experience with them, they have one of the lowest prices around(if not the lowest). Selection is also really good, as they carry some rare DVDs(especially foreign titles). Here's the best/worst part: Shipping is free! at a price, because it's the slowest shipping service around. They'll let you upgrade the shipping for few $'s, but then what's the point?
