i'm bored at work.........and my bosses aren't here yet so I'm watching Office Space:p


- I work at Notre Dame in the BioChem labs, even though my major is Auto Tech Management:odd:
-I'm getting payed $7.25/hour

-I work at ND Graphics department after that job.
-$6.75/hour

-On the weekends I work at a County Recreaction Park
-$6.25:rolleyes:


How about all your jobs / workplaces.........
 
I work for New Zealands top Aluminum Extrusion Die making firm call Extrusion Machine Company. I am one of the designers/programmers there.
Base salery is $42k a year.

What do you design/make/produce there?

Car Parts? Soda cans? Aluminum foil:p ?
 
Mostly building industry. such as window framing, ranch slider framing etc. Though a few of our customers also extrude decking for cargo ships handles for for ovens and refridgerators.
Ullrich Aluminum is a construction equipment supplier so they would extrude their own parts for ladders, scaffoling, etc.
 
Here is one of the die sets we've made. It is a simple tube for Ullrich.

I also clicked on it and saw "unclothed ladies" during the loading screen. So I had to close it down cause I'm at work still......I don't feel like getting fired today:p
 
I drive for, and work in the GKS team-owned karting shop in Genk (Belgium), as do I occasionally work as a mechanic for customers to the shop.

I'll be working for a small hotel in Maastricht (NL) starting July.
 
I own an oil field in rural Gregg County Texas. We've found about four pounds of Columbia shuttle debris while cruising the field (just a zany, semi-interesting fact).

I don't make any money. Damn lucky Klos with his $9/hr.

No, we call up the government and they come out here in a Taurus (white, of course) and pick it up, thanking us profusely.
 
I work as a registered nurse.
I work in a hospital, and at a nursing home.
I average over $20/hr.
 
I work at a pharmacy for $9/hr but I'm getting a raise.....all the old people go to sleep like at 6 o'clock so after that I usually watch TV or read car magazine....or leave the store on company time to go get stuff to eat.....once I get out of school I'll be a pharmacist making 100,000 a yr plus bonuses and I get a 25,000 check on the spot just for signing a 2 yr contract...oh yeah the 100 K a yr is base salary...after 8 hrs a day or 40 hrs a week I get paid time and a half wich is about 70 an hr....most days are 12 hrs long so I would get overtime every day I work...oh yeah sundays are time and a half also....holidays are double time wich would be about 140 an hr.....I cant wait.....I can see my skyline already.....:D
 
I don't work but during the summer i'm volunteering at the hospital. It's pretty fun. But i plan to be a Physicians Assistant (4 yr. nursing degree and then work as a nurse during 2 yrs. of PA school. Salary=60-70k+/yr.)
 
Customer Service "Manager" (can't think of a good translation) at a Honda dealership... Basically, i listen to the customer's problem, then we take his/ her car for a quick ride, to see how much of a problem it is, and then i calculate costs and such... Pretty boring, but fun at the same time, at least when the customer's not *****ing at everything... Sometimes there are hot girls. too. :D 18$/Hour. Mind you that's canuck bucks, though.
 
helping @ my parents restaurant while im on school vacation... should be about three montsh or less... after that, Im gonna go lookin for a job in a car magazine called auto tuning, wich is devoted to mexican rice but also runs some cool cars... in fact, thats why I want to work there. all the other car mags here in mexico (and I MEAN it... ALL) are trash. wish me luck.

I do need a job, and should've gotten one a long time ago, but I have no motivation. I'm hoping the AF will be my first job.

thanks josh. I mite have a chance, but I need to get in from lowww... so I will offer my talent to draw cars. I just want to get involved. they wont give the chance to see how good you are editorially speakin, but they can see ( i hope) if you are tallented drawing.
