I'm a computer technician at a Regional Occupation Center for high school students. Students go there to learn real life skills, on the job training, and go out to businesses to get work experience. At this center, it is geared towards computer technology, and I with about 20 other high school graduates for this summer job. I get paid minimum wage, $6.75 for 32 hours a week.

I graduated University with Engineering (electronics)...i work in web development (Java, PHP, C++) for a small company and also electronics design for a local college and i teach part-time at a local college too...roughly £23 per hour thats ($32++) per hour....

i work partly from home and partly from my office from 8am till 9pm 6 days a week...and have very little time any more to play GT3, i have a 11 year old daughter and new baby due next week....(you think your life is busy)

Design Engineer for a Company that is the 2nd largest land owner in the US. The largest is the US govt. Anyone know who it is? We also own millions of acres of land in a number of other countries.

I cook and wash dishes at a local resturant. I guess it's alright, for a summer job. I've made a lot of friends there since I started 2 years ago, plus the pay is good. I make $9.50 USD an hour, and I work about 30 hours per week.

The website for my agency has a woman who is barely clothed, but it's for some creative reason which I haven't understood yet... there are 3 people on it, and they're all barely clothed. The fact is that they tried to make a "family" and for such, they are all there... anyway, it's not a p*rn site. And on the payment, since I'm in Venezuela, where the dollar drives us and our own coin is undervalued, I make around $130/month

I'm a UK Systems Manager at LogicaCMG. I'm working on 3rd line support, projects and change management for the AWG Outsource contract. Salary is confidential, thanks

Usually when the salary is "confidential" that means you make a whole lotta' money. Admit it giles, you're rich aren't you. Not that being rich is bad. Personally i could care less if you were filthy rich. So c'mon and tell us how much you make, everyone else has.

As for me, I'm a manager at a restaurant. I'm still at my deli worker rate, because I haven't had my review yet, so I'm making $8/hr, 40 hrs a week. Once I have my review, I'll get $1-1.50 raise. I'm also a Mary Kay consultant and a Stampin' Up demonstrator.

Actually us older people (and Giles is like 45 - we all know he is) prefer to go the 'confidential' route to avoid any competiton or talk about money - we prefer to keep it relaxing, methinks. Or at least that's my logic.

I'm a librarian earning a measley $24/hr. I also do a bit of modeling/adverts at a somewhat higher rate ;) (ei closer to 100, depending on the job) but i am quiting that as i dont have time for it. I have an 12yo daughter so i dont have time for much.
lucky i dont actually do much at work other than spam this forum :p

I work as a Sous Chef. That means "second chef" in french. My position is second in command next to the Executive Chef.
I work at a 4 star, 350 room hotel in Vail Colorado which does about $12 million in food and beverage sales annualy. Of course I don't see anywhere near that amount of money and if you take my salary and divide it by my hours worked, I make about $1.50 an hour.

I work at school. My parents pay the school for a free education with a compulsory donation.

Sorry a bit off topic! - But I work at school & home!

i take pictures of cars at the weekly car show down by a shopping square not too far from my house. it is a lot of fun. but i wish i had a scanner!!! (or a digital camera) :banghead:  :banghead:

lol.

lol. Man, I love my job name... :-p

Sexton translates to "Care taker of the Church"

Well yeah. I work at my church for 6.75 an hour. It really isn't that much, because I only end up working about 2-4 times a month due to the fact that there are about 5 other sextons and only one sexton needs to work a day. That and teenage sextons can only work certain days in the month. (But hey.. I just need enough pocket change to pay off those damn expensive movie tickets.) My job's pretty easy though. I just set up for all the masses and I pretty much do most of the work in and out of the Church. But what makes it so great is, when I do work, I pretty much set up for three to four masses on that specific day and masses are an hour long. I don't really have to do anything during the masses, so I pretty much have 3 one hour breaks out of my 7 hour day :-p In that time I can devour all the food in the rectory kitchen. :)

Yeah. At least when the coal mines collapse, you're not going to get infected or anything.
