Where's my Formula Gran Turismo?

Okay this is a rhetorical 'question' since I can't post in the base section (<100 posts).

I've grinded American championship to get ~5million credits, and now I'm going through B1-B5 licence tests to reset the used car dealership to get a Formula GT.

I've done it for MANY hours, found about 10 Veyrons, 10 Gt-40 Race Cars and 1000000000 Skylines/Evos. Zero Formula GTs.

Dear Polyphony: this is a ****ing stupid game mechanic since I need this car to progress.
 
You are right, it is.

The way the used car lot works is keeping things interesting, because you never know what might show up. But on the other hand, when you're looking for something particular, it's just very poor game design.

Edit: I can add that it "only" took me 2-3 hours to do the same. Not that that would cheer you up :)

I used the license technique to refresh the used dealership as well and saw the Formula Gt after about the 3rd try. I guess I'm just lucky :D
 
It's not mandatory to finish FGT championship for you to proceed through the game, you reach level 25 and you can start playing endurance. However, I kinda have the same feeling as you 2 days ago. I've been cycling through liscense test for a week to finally get the FGT to pop up in the used car lot. So, keep playing while searching. It will come eventually.
 
I agree, the used car dealership cycling sucks. I think PD should add a feature that allows you to request a certain used car, but then have to pay 40% more than usual to purchase it. I finally got the FGT after 2 days of license test refreshes and racing. I now have acquired the habit of wanting to check the used dealership every 5 game days. I need to kick it since I have the car now. It seems to come when you least expect it.
 
keep a 4.8M reserve. dont spend it. Save up more for other cars.

the formula turismo will come on eventually
thats how i got it.
