Where's the Update?

[F1]

Hey, I've just started GT5 and there is no update! I am sure I read on the main page there was an update on the 4/4/12?
Anyone got the update already or has it been delayed?

It's NOT an update, just an online server maintenance. Nothing more.

I think it starts at 3:00 and ends at 4:00

[RoadRocket77]

it's server maintenance... but this is usually followed by an update of some kind within the following weeks.

Yes, there hasn't been any official press on a 2.06 update or a new DLC pack has there? I've scanned google and haven't found anything useful

EDIT: Fun fact, this thread is the second hit, if you search for (without quotes) "gran turismo 5 update" within the past 24 hours.

You're wrong. It has been a maintenance, not an update.

Damn! Sorry for this thread then!

Maintenance finished, no update.

ya nothing at all, they like to keep it to themselves unlike Forza. They release news every week. Just wish they can do the same and keep the customer info.
I was hoping they could release update this week before Easter weekend, but I don't think the update will be that soon.

Server maintenence doesn't necessarily mean PD is going to patch the game. They just tend to coincide patch releases with server updates because it makes it easier on them.

As an FYI, if the game itself had a patch that was imminent, Kaz would almost certainly say something about it on his Twitter page.

This i like, we on the other hand are kept in the dark for months, and have to scan the gossip columns for a hint of GT5 news (or Kazunori rips a fart on his twitter account we immediatly translate...).

Only one thing's for sure; new A spec seasonal mañana so we can save up for cars that don't appear.
