Which bugs really get on your nerves?

Caterpillars and worms are what i despise the most. I'll tolerate spiders, as long as they're smaller than the palm of my hand.

You know that kitchen surface cleaning stuff? That will kill ANY bug stone dead in seconds - even the largest spider. However, moths need Pledge furniture polish spray.

Moths: What the hell do they do all day? I mean, there's tons of sodding light - but no. They wait until someone lights a match and all turn up at once.

Cranefly/Daddy-Long Legs: How in hell have these things survived evolution? They only fly up against walls and are so fragile it's not even funny.

Fly: The only creature SO useless that it's named after the only thing it can actually do. 'Nuff said.

The only bugs I can really tolerate are ants, butterflies, and ladybugs. The most annoying to me are, by far, flies. I can't stand the way they're always buzzing around my ears, contaminating my food..etc.

Moth wings get all nasty though when they're wet.

I've always wondered the same thing - Seems ridiculous to avoid the light all day, then to actively seek it when it's, um, dark. :odd: And their wings get nasty when they're wet. Yup.

BTW, right now, there's a spider lookin at me from next to the couch. See, there's this couch next to the computer table here, and every single night this same spider (a pretty big one... maybe an inch and a half in length) walks out just a little bit from underneath the couch, and just sits there and waits for crawly things to pass by so it can suck the poor creature's guts out. And often, he seems to be looking at me.

Doug (M5Power!!!) told me to kill it, but I refuse... it's harmless! And it ate a cricket, which are gawd-awful-annoying when they decide to find one little niche in your house and chirp all night long.

I was busy watching the tribal counsel in the 3rd last survivor last night (shu'rup and dont spoil it!) when a 🤬 coackroach flew in the window of my room. I keep a can of raid for just such an occurance, but then i faced a dilemma. Watch the result and lose eye contact with the bugger or miss the result and send it to face its maker. Well i tried to watch tv and keep a tab on where it was with the result that i missed half of what was said and lost contact with the sucker.

I was about to turn out my light for beddy-byes when "voila", he flied across my room. Zapped him with the Raid and made a point of squashing it extra hard with a tissue when i chucked it away :D
