Which car are you looking forward to drive in GT5?

Mcclaren F1 & Veyron are my main 2,
But I realy hope there are plenty of "up to date" cars in the game like the new Scirocco R, clio rs200 ,new focus rs, Abarth 500, Bentley continental supersport , Audi R8 spider, plus the choice of roof up or down with convertibles. I just hope it is not full of older "normal" cars most of them from gt4

Well this year Europe has come out with some freakishly brilliant supercars and concepts, some might not be in GT5, but my list is the:
Aston one-77
Jaguar C-X75 (an XJ220 struck by lightning)
Ferrari 612 GTO (cause I know that rendering was Polyphony's doing)
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (Man, that car is striking!)
and Dodge Viper Final edition as tribute to my childhood dream car.

I can't wait for GT5 to come out, so I can get in the Mitsubishi Evolution IV. Always been a huge fan of those cars, and seeing how I'm importing one from Japan next year, it'll be even better. So close, yet so far away...

The "612 GTO" has nothing to do with PD, other than their images being used by whoever created it to place it in an environment.

Is this thread a wishlist? None of those cars are in GT5... or at the very least, they're incredibly, incredibly unlikely (very much so the Aston, sadly, since the Apex magazine images). The Viper already in-game is pretty darn close though.

Hmm, the 612 wasn't GT related at all? I know it was all speculation, but it did look like PD's work. Bummer :indiff:
Well, yeah this was a wishlist for me. Personally, with Kaz talking about hybrid/electric cars and concepts, I was (and still am) hoping that he would get one of them in. GT4 did have some concepts before its time as well.

Wouldn't it be great if these cars were in it?!

This is starting to turn into a wishlist, so try to get back on topic before all the youngsters flood the thread with silly car requests. There's another thread for that purpose.

I'm looking forward to driving the Veyron, and I'm wondering how well they modeled the car, both in physics and 3D modeling. I assume it's in the game, since it was in PSP...

The reason I want to drive it is because it isn't a track car. I'm wondering how its weight and luxury features affect its performance when really put to the test on a track.

This isn't a wishlist.. I don't recall any of those in GT1-3...

They don't have to be in those GT games, the thread says which car are you looking forward to drive in GT5, but i agree that the McLaren 722 and F50 most likely will not appear in GT5.

I know, look at my edited version. I posted in the wrong thread.. (tired, don't ask) ;)

If you can swap similar engines into a car, then a peripheral ported 20b in an FD3S. And a lag-ass R34 GTR on custom course at night...I cannot wait.

I am going to race it side by side with the mclarenF1 to see how realistic the performance has been represented ( knowing the F1 is quicker to at least 150mph ) can't wait to try the newest "realistic driving simulator"

As you can tell from the left, the Delorean. This slow, heavy POS is my favorite car and handles pretty well in real life.

Hoping for the classic '81 Delorean and the newer remade Delorean S versions made by the 'new' Delorean company. And word if these are in the game?

Ford Model T, WRC cars, old American Muscle cars, and PD's version of my own car, and good friend, The Ford Mondeo ST220.

My first post on these forums, it's nice to be here :)

Yes, i am old school.

Truthfully, despite it being in Forza 3, the car I'm most hyped for is the Veyron, standard or premium, don't care. They both drive the same, sound the same, and have identical bumper cams ;)

There is just something special about driving that car, and yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that I prefer the faster, sporty cars compared to the slower stuff. I drive a relatively slow car ever day - don't want to drive the same in-game!

Most interested in the D1GP cars. Also looking forward to drive some "normal" cars that u actually see on the road everyday like Audi RS6, MB E63 etc (If those cars ll be in the game.)

1. Aston Martin One-77
2. Pagani Zonda R
3. Pagani Zonda F Roadster
4. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
5. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Just hope #1 is in.... if it isn't, I will be quite annoyed.

I'm assuming you "know" this from watching Top Gear. Did you know that other magazines have clocked the Veyron accelerating faster than an actual Formula 1 car? lol

Even so, I can't wait to drive the F1.
