Which car are you looking forward to drive in GT5?

I am honestly looking forward to racing the Prototype Redbull x1? car. ever since they announced it, i have been looking forward to it

Ya know seeing a real picture of this car, makes it seem horrifying. . . Not in a bad way. Just. . . So much power compressed into such a small size. . . I'd be afraid to drive it.

I was watching an old episode of Top Gear the other night. long story short, they had to choose the best car maker ever, Hammond and Clarkson chose Lancia. They drove an old Lancia Stratos, and it just looked so beautiful. Old but not outdated, and what a sound! I want that Car! but for now I have to settle for the virtual version :-)

other than that, I'm lookin' forward to the Ferraris - F40 in particular

oh and the Lamborghini Countach... and Murcielago

...the McLaren F1 of course

and the Nascars... I think

Thats it I think but once i see the whole list of cars I'm gonna be like a kid in a candy shop, not knowing where to look and what to choose.... it's gonna be epic

I am quite interested in driving the Zonda R.

Granted, its a hyper-car and will probably be insanely difficult to control, I still can't wait to unleash that monster.

I'd also like to drive an Ariel Atom, if it will be included.

As almost everybody, I don't need 20 different versions of a Skyline, more variation would be appreciated. The cars that I'd wanna drive in GT5 would be hmm.. the car I'm driving IRL, Hyundai Sonata -07, E39 BMW would be also nice to have and some older (10-15 years) European cars.

And then of course some supercars including Ferrari 355, Lambo Murcielago, various Mercedes cars...

Oh god I'm excited as a 10-year old about this game! I don't mind Polyphony Digital taking the extra time to make this game, I know they will amaze us even after the delays and frustrations.

As far as I know Fiat Automobiles/Lancia have no plan for a new Stratos.
I don't think that one is an "official" new Stratos.

It's a simple story: man loves car, man is billionaire, man spends piles of money recreating modern version of car. It's noble. The new Lancia Stratos is a weapon of war mixed with a labor of love... a weapon of love? It's the creation of billionaire car nut and CEO of supplier Brose KG, Michael Stoschek, a long-time Stratos and rally car fanatic. Its creation is a long time coming. Long like 24 years long, like 1986, when Stoschek met Chris Hrabalek in Alta Badia, Italy at a the World Stratos Meet.

Stoschek and Hrabalek met with the designers at Pininfarina to hammer out a car in early 2008. The design started under the hand of rising design star Jason Castriota and eventually moved to the designers at Bertone, which was the studio behind the original Stratos. It's based around the Ferrari F430 chassis and its 4.3-liter V8 engine with an all carbon fiber body, carbon ceramic brakes, a tiny wheelbase like the original, and a weight-to-power ratio of just 5.5 lbs per horsepower.

You are correct.

A German Billionaire decided he wanted an update one, and so he made it happen.

It may not be an official Lancia, but if it barks like a Stratos and corners like a Stratos...

I think that updated stratos looks mint. I'd spent time in it if it were playable in a game.

In GT4 I had about 170 cars all tweaked and a stratos was one of them so why not this new one.

I'm happy for the guy. I wonder how much he spent developing it and what he could get for it?

Dunno why, but I've been recently getting more interested in Nissan's 300ZX, the Z32 one. I sure hope there's a premium one to be had in GT5.
Those things just look great with a little bit of work on the body and the paint job...

Oh sweet Jesus. The Ariel Atom (should it be featured) would be absolutely incredible to drive! As for the Zonda. I'm gonna drive it with my head between my legs.

True, but there's always a chance that KY/PD managed a deal to get it featured as a one off street prototype or special edition or something.

Im hoping Ill be able to drive a few new Australian cars... but thats been proven to be unlikely, so in the absence of them, Ide like to see how the American modern day muscle cars go. (The new camaro chassis is a holden chassis)

Agreed, however the wing serves a purpose. Without it, it just wouldn't handle like an ACR.

Im Hoping to drive a lot of the old cars. I hope they include a couple dodge ram trucks to. Besides that..... i love the sls amg.
