Considering many of us were ready for GT5 to be pretty much every car in GT's history in super high detail inside and out... what cars were you really looking forward to seeing redone and fancied up? Racecar, classic, your own beater/commute car?

Because i never owned a Renault 5 Turbo, i'll never know the perils of hot starting :dopey:.

I had a renault 5, learned how to drive and modify with it.. and ever since then they have always had a soft spot in my heart.. That car to me is like a little go kart that can go on and on :) and to not have this in a GT would be dissapointing.

But Its an old car, so I can understand

He meant the mid-engined 5 Turbo previously in GT4 and also in one of the Standard videos on the Toscana track.:)

Road & race car analog.I like driving the 5 turbo in GTI Club +.It sounds pretty good as an 80's old school hot hatch.

I know I'm dissapointed its not premium, thats what I meant.. I had a renault 5 turbo (alpine)

Mine was mid engined...

Man that car WAS one of the first hot hatches :D

That and a metro man brings back memories lol.. (which I won't go into as i'm quickly veering off topic)

Uh I guess I'd have to say the Bugatti Veyron or the Mclaren Mercedes SLR. The interiors of both those cars just look like such lovely places to be in lol.

If the Sunbeam Lotus, Vauxhall Chevette HS & R + mk 1 Golf GTI, Fiesta XR2i & the Peugeot 205 1.9 gti are in that would be great. We could've had epic hot hatch racing.Back on topic.

On Topic - The Pontiac brand. It's a dead horse per se due to it's cancellation by GM, so I am not expecting anything. Still won't change the massive amount of time on and off the track I'll spend with it though..

Off Topic - Another "disappointing" thread authored by Devedander. Why am I not shocked?

1998 Audi S4 (type B5)

Its the car thats looks the closest to my own car, a 2000 Audi A4 (type B5).

I would modefy it to look like this, if it were possible anyway.

...is it too easy to just answer "all of them"? ;)

Another car (wish) list thread for standard cars...:indiff:

Just like Toronado's thread, this isn't a wishlist. Well, some users seemingly ignore the first post and try to turn it into one, but I definitely don't think that's Dev's intent.

Devedander, you must've missed the sticky about only positive threads! Shame!

On-topic: Someone mentioned the M3 GTR Race Car, and I forgot all about it. It actually could go in my post in Toronado's thread too, because I'll probably drive it fairly early as far as Standards go, because it's such a well-balanced, easy car.

The Countach being a Standard is incredibly disappointing considering its new to the series (well, it was in PSP, but so was the V-Spec and ZR-1). The R8 LMS too. I don't think it's been 100% confirmed as a Standard, but if it is, the Furai is another car I'll be sad I won't be able to sit inside. That car is beautiful.

The MA70 Supra, I can only assume, will end up Standard, which is also sad because it's always been the go-to for a starter car.

I've always been curious about the cars made for GTPSP that are confirmed to be standard. It has always seemed, for lack of a better word, stupid, that PD would scratch-build standard cars knowing full well what storm would lie ahead when the car disparity was announced.

So I'm gonna say those cars. The Countach, the R8 LMS, stuff like that.

Any of the Muscle cars (new and old) that don't make premium. I wish all the ones in the game were, but it's not going to happen.

NOTE: I am not singling you out, or razzing/insulting anyone or dissenting on their opinions. It is just what I feel, and I am just expressing my opinion. If the corporate evil created by writing/reading this message increases by 17%, please PM me. I will delete this message.

Not to make a big fuss or anything, but the people who just want to play the game & enjoy it (me included) don't care what PD has done to any of the cars by making two car classes, because we just want to play and enjoy the game. Sure, only 200 cars have special options that don't really matter to most of the game's content(to my knowledge), but we could care less about that, since it isn't (to my knowledge) important to unlock an menu option or to get specific cars.
However, I may be wrong, and there may be a race that only allows 'Premium' cars. If I am, feel free to inform and correct me.

I still have my opinions, so they can not be changed.

Pretty much all the Le Mans cars. Really hurts that Forza 3 has pretty much all of the following as "premium" and more. The Mazda 787b and Audi R10 MAY be premium. If not, then they too sadly go on the list. Maybe PD will surprise me and give us the Dome S102 but I doubt it.
