Which car do you most enjoy starting up in garage?

One of the cool little things about GT5 is how in the garage, when you change into a car, you get to hear it's ignition/engine start.

I'm an audiophile, so for me this is important. I actually wish you could turn the car on/off while driving around (of course, not in a race.... but just cruising maybe).

Anyone else like going in the garage and just listening to engine starts??

If you have a clutch+steering wheel then you can stall your car, then press then clutch in to restart the engine and you get to hear it start again.

I love the sound of the Nissan GT-R Concept Race Car starting up, especially when the engine revs half way through

I love starting up my Lotus Esprit V8. Only because it doesnt start up right away. It has to turn over a few times like it's old and abused.

I just discovered the wonderful sound that the Alfa Romeo 8C makes. That V8 growl...music to my ears...

My favorites:
Ferrari 599(the V12 starter motor, plus the V12 initial scream)
Alfa 8C
Lotus Esprit(Although it sounds like a crossplane V8 when its actually a flatplane
V8, the sound is so sexy)

Others that I like:
Ford F-150 Lightning (so far the only one that revs up)
Hemi Challenger R/T (as good as it gets)
New Camaro (or the old one)
Tank Car (it sounds like the real thing)
Dodge Viper GTS (I like V10s)
Murcielago
Gallardo

and last but not least...

Tesla Roadster (gotta love the "click, click...BEEP")

cause when i hear that sound It only means one thing
Time to grind the dream car championship series again _-_

But anyway its my favorite start up Sound -_-

Xsara Rally Car by Citroen

not because it sounds awesome tho but because it sounds like it almost isn't going to start. I honestly thought there was some feature with cars having to be repaired when i first started up this car. I was like .. omg are you serious its not gonna start?

787B hands down. Also any muscle car.

Yeah, the engine just sounds like it's really struggling to start. It's not my favourite, but I always find it funny whenever I start it up.

It's not a bad car either .. once you get it started lol. For FF rally car its quite agile on a tarmac track if you haven't given it a spin try it out.

I started up my Lambo 25th Anniversary Contach and thought it was gonna explode :nervous:

I love it when I start up my old P4 :) It sounds (growl's) like it will eat anything that gets in it's way...👍

I will second that. Whenever I start it up, I am overcome an evil grin as I realise the power that now lies at my fingertips!

It's almost indistinguishable from the real thing...hear for yourselves:

That almost made me gasm. O_O

Most Epic Engine Startup: Mazda 787B

My Favorite Startup: Chaparral 2D '67

Sorry guys, but classic American motors just sound the best to me. ^_^

Today I found my new all time favorite starting sound.

I bought the historic Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 Rally Car. I can tell you, THAT is amazing. I did it five times in a row because it sound so cool when they fire up the car. Try it out.

And actually the lancer 1600 rally is pretty fun to drive! Drove it stock with just oil change, and it was pretty easy to put it sideways in eiger!

I had forgotten that it was FF until I bought it a few weeks ago. It's one of my favourite FF car in the game along side the Integra Type R Touring Car.

Also, the Nissan Bluebird Rally Car start up sound is very similar to the Xsara Rally Car.

chapparal 2D. It's so awesome that it's a three-speed.

(not the washing machine, but the OTHER one...)
