I'm new to all this GT5 world. I'm playing it since saturday, and that's just few days. Tonight I've reached Level 17, and I have F458 italia and Murcielago SV fully tuned and Buggati veyron slightly tuned to 1100hp. I have now something about 400k Cr, which useful car should I buy next?

I bought Lambo just cause I love it and cause I want to use it in photomode, all of these 3 cars are pretty strong and fast so will do most of races, but should I now have to go for X1 or F1, and can I use them on some races, or it is wasting of money?

I think that gallardo is first on the list cause of gallarado challenge but I would like to see some other opinions ;) 👍

Corvette ZR1 if you can get 750-900k Race Modify this car and Fully tune it becomes your gateway to getting some faster and better cars in the expert tier, plus it goes great:tup:

Zr1 fully upgraded with RM option is one of the best in game, a beast of a car with a bit of time spent tuning it with the right set up

Great handling! It's one second slower than my ferrari and two sec slower than lambo, but it's not even near fully tuned, and I had a little crash. So with setup like this (340.000Cr) is enough fast to win fully tuned f458 :O at least in my case...

Can I use it for muscle car challenge?

Congrats on the new purchase, when I first started playing GT5 my first big purchase just to happened to be a ZR1 as well. You should be able to use this car in the Muscle Car Challenge (if I'm not mistaking).

Also, once you've RM'd your ZR1, checkout the tune below.

Some seems to struggle to get Gold at the All-star w/o a race car. There are also not to many tunes posted so I give it a go.

The ZR-1 RM performance is very close to the real race cars. It enabled me to win Gold at all races with a 2-5 second buffer, all aids off except ABS at 1. Exception is the Nordschleife where I do win Gold with it, but its so easy to crash in one of the many corners.

Strong points with this car/tune
- Easy to drive
- It accelerate great out of medium speed corners (best way to overtake race cars)
- When accelerating it holds its line and doesn't understeer out
- Great breaking and it turns when breaking without losing the rear (ABS at 1)
- High speed turns. You can overtake race cars on the outside

Just to give a hint of the performance. I'm a decent driver but no demon. In the second race I spun in the first thunnel, got into 5th place 6 sec behind the leader. At the end of lap 2 I was back in the lead and won the race with 4 sec.. In the 4th race on the "bridge circle" its about 1 sec faster than race cars.

Fully upgraded the ZR-1 RM gives 905hp att 1100Kg weight. My tune

Downforce: 35/53
Transm.: 360 km/h (380 at Nordschliefe)
Initial torque: 10
Acc sens: 20
Brake sens: 10
Ride h: 5/5 (35/35 at Nordschleife)
Spring: 16.6/14.4
Damp ext 9/7
Damp comp: 9/7
Anti RB: 3/5
Camber: 2/1.5
Toe: 0/-0.30
Brakes: 5/7

I play around with the rear breaks depending on track. Its good at 7 but if I want better turn in use 8, better stability a 6.

I also play around with rear springs. Its pretty balanced but if I want a bit more oversteer lowering the number seems to create overstear (opposite to what I expected)

Its by no means a perfect tune but its good enought to win Gold at All-Star. If someone has an idea to further improve it would be great.

Cheers

Whats your PSN ID? Add me when PSN is back and I'll share my x1 so you can borrow it.

Thanks, but I can't go on PSN cause my console is hacked:ouch: for now...:indiff:

I won first race easily, it can be used in the Muscle Car Challenge ;) And it's near my lambo SV now when it's almost fully tuned(everything except aero kit). 1 second slower actually. But it has 50hp less.

For non RM and Non aero parts car I use this tune for ZR1. It's absolutely great!

If satan existed and ever came to earth, this is what he'd be driving. A phenomenal sound, and smokes tires like they were made of paper. Oh, and backfiring causes 3-foot flames. Or something. Just promise me one thing. This car handles ok, but don't treat it like a Lancer or Impreza. If you want good times, you have to handle it like what it is. A 900 HP American muscle car.

Also, it goes around the 'Ring in 6:09, with 2 minor trips into the grass, totalling about 5 seconds, and with a DS3, in the hands of a mediocre driver. In short, it's fast. Very, very fast.

I'll have to give this tune a try. I really like the way the ZR1 looks without an aero package (which is why I own two ZR1s and will mostlikely purchase a third and leave it completely stock [with the exception of wheels and weight reduction]).

My tune is pretty similiar to this one I sent you in post above. There are some minor changes, but that's cause of different drivinig skills and styles ;) Try it and modify to yourself, I think it's great ;)

Every my car is without aero kit. I have 3 fully tuned favourite premium cars. F458, Lambo SV and ZR1. Love the look of them stock with new wheels and ride height <3 maybe I'll buy another ZR1 cause of RM

Yep, that's my second ZR1... I just tested out the tune you posted and I actually kind of like it. Don't worry about english because it is just fine. Anyways, looking forward to seeing pics of your ZR1.

Everybody seems to say the Ram is far and away the best truck, and the time trial leaderboards seemed to back this up.

The Premium '69 Camaro Z28 is a gift from the gods, even more so once race modded.

I'll take Ram than. But about Camaro, when I'm gonna get it? Which race I need to win?

Get a Nissan Skyline R32 and modify it up. It'll become a total beast. Try an Esprit V8 too and also try and find a rally car as well for the GT Rally Advanced. Or just do the GT Rally Intermediate...also try a Gallardo since you'll need one for the Gallardo race.

Hmm, I really don't like Skyline R32, I already have 3 fully tuned beast's which will do most the work till I see what's waiting me in extreme series of A-spec. I'll buy gallardo cause I really need it. Esprit V8, I got i already. For rally I bought used impreza wrx but it's damn hard to do something, I was third in intermediate level. Still searching something under 240hp for beginner level.

One more question. Does I need C63AMG for some of events, challenges, races? I really love this car, but I do not have enough money to spend for cars that I love if I am not gonna need it.
I don't think you can win it, you have to buy it from the Chevy dealer.
I will buy it ;)
