i like the lexus isf, but i got most problems with the zo6, in pro with n2tyres, this car it's all or nothing and the brakes aren't the best ones.

greetings

The Z06 has to be treated with care,it`s a fast car but it does feel a tad nose heavy and just needs to be set up for the coming corner. It has decent brakes but they could be better(at the end of the long fast straights of fuji it does really need your foot hard on the brakes early) Power wise it is good,on cam(3500rpm and above) you have to be gentle with the throttle or it will spin the wheels on you in 2nd or 3rd gear coming out of corners. The key to getting the most out of it is to be smooth and brake early and hard and get off the brakes to get the nose to bite going into the corner. 👍

Now thats a tuff question,of course the black stallion beast GTLM love that thing but its BAD for me,its like dating that wild tattoed chick that wants to hang out at the seedy spots,it scares the crap out of you but at the same time your diggin it.Makes you more aware alive I gotta go race.:nervous:

Out of the cars I have driven in GTP5 the brand new Skyline seemed to give me the most problems. If the rear started sliding I would almost always over-correct it and spin out. Especially on long swooping corners. I am using the controller so it would probably be better with the wheel.

:lol::lol::lol::cheers:

As posted by DaddyVDUB , it's gotta be the black beast GTLM. Once you get that car mastered, you are the bad a** on the block , until then, you may as well stay in your house and don't go out , the black beast is lurking.

Any of the Ford GT's do my head in, as do any of the Lotus Elise's.... they piss me off.

I have no issues with any of the other MR cars represented in GT5:P..... the F40 and 599 (even though it's not MR) are fine, as are the NSX's.... it's all too confusing as to why i can't get my head around the GT's and Elise's.

Know what you mean felt like that for a long while, still do some days. I have to constantly remember not to steer as much as a RD car, also the throttle will turn the car when the back starts to step out gas it a little it will correct well sometimes it will whwn you go for brakes tickle the gas as well.

It's gotta be the driving style ???, MR cars are not that bad for me,I love the Lotus's ( I can drive them hands down ),NSX's,the standard GT's are fine,it's just that GTLM that gives me fits :crazy::crazy:

I also didn't mention that i right foot brake..... which doesn't bode well for me and MR vehicles:nervous:

I'm quick in virtually everything bar the MR's..... i don't really have an explanation other then that i have to lift off the throttle to grab some brake...... which upset's the balance.

If you have a wheel, i would use the R35. If you can feel the grip on the wheel, it will teach you how to keep the cars weight where you want it. Also, if you put most of the hp to the back wheels; it can give you a good example of rear wheel drive cars.

Out of curiosity, and in keeping with the original question, does it actually reward you when you get it right?

Some cars are terrible to drive until you get the hang of them, then they're amazing and fast.

Some cars are just terrible to drive.

F40 will never reward you.. it'll always keep you on the edge of sudden death. I finally managed to create a setup that allowed me to reach third position on that damned S6-mission.. it's not perfect, but with that car, you'd better be drift king's reincarnation or just give up..:ouch:

:crazy:IMOP Players that use sixaxis controler have a large advantage when it comes to MR cars, the game smooths out some of the steering on controller. When I was having some trouble with S7 & S10 events went back to controller with Lotus was way more drivable. Granted Im not the most talented out there with the DFGT wheel only had it 2 months I did see a vast difference in how the cars reacted.💡
It has also been my experience that a great many of the fastest drivers I encounter on game when I get to know them guess what there using sixaxis,go figure.

Again it is a matter of driving style , I use a siraxxis controller , so I really can't be fair in saying which is better as far as wheel -vs- controller , so which one is better ???? I hear pros and cons on both sides. As far as driving styles go with MR cars, I drive (try) to driive them equally the same as far as style goes, and I still can't come to grips with the GTLM,perhaps it's PD's way of throwing a curve ball at us to see if we can hit it (proper setup, that is).One of these days I will get it.

Now...

I'm just trying to master London with the GT-R/Mine's Skyline. Since Spec-II, I've been trying to get a good time and when Spec-III came out, I ended up being one of the top times on London (not for long I'm guessing).

The cars I have most trouble with are the F40&599. Don't know why, I guess its my style when is comes to exiting corners to just punch the throttle, works well with the 4WD but I guess thats where my shortcomings show in the RWD/MRs. Heheh

[I use no aids & pro]
