Which cars have a card reader instead of a key igntion...

I think the key ignition on my bike is getting crappy, and instead of replacing it with a stock key (which costs and arm and a leg) why not try one of those with a keycard..

So someone please answer my subject :D

fingerprints would be better, but i love using keys in my car, i hope they dont change all cars to keycards. what's wrong with using keys?

just insert it, and twist. i wouldn't mind having an alternate system for doors but not to start the engine
 
Get a smaller one then... :D

I hate automatic central locking on cards like that. I mean, I often go back to check I've locked my car... You have one of those things in your pocket, oh look, the car's unlocked... You walk off, forget to check if it worked, walk back... etc. etc. etc.

thats what clarkson said. what im thinking is what if someone is crouching down on the opposite side of the car waiting to open the door just as you close urz... its not like pressing a button on a piece of plastic causes me any hassle, i'd rather have the assurance that my car was locked than relying on it to lock itself.
 
I think you push a red button in the Aston Martin Vanquish and it starts.

yeah many cars have that, i think all performance cars had that in the past. as for modern ones, the renault laguna, and again more performance ones.
 
Yup, almost all of the older cars had it, then they were dropped for key ignitions, and now they're starting to make a comeback again... I know the Honda S2000 has one, and I *think* the Chrysler Crossfire does too...
 
the viper have a ignition button too.

and my friend have a SL600 with a card (just like a visa card ) but i don't sure if this was a special option of what.
