If it had to be a modern Corvette, I would have the new Stingray. But with the choice of all of the Corvettes over te years. I would have to be the: C2 ZO6, C2 Stingray, C3 Stingray
Given the choice of any spec, any generation, I'd go for a base-model C5 for the simple fact of liking this body style above all others. The steepness of the Z06's rear window looks ridiculous, and the brake vents have a whiff of AutoZone hood scoop about them. It's not as if the LS engines don't have enough aftermarket support to more than make up for any performance differences between sub-models.
