I use Google

I'm sure there is a better one for specific searches, but this does well for more generic stuff. Popular results appear early, so you don't have to look for too long. For papers ect., find another.

I use Google out of habit, and because it is also a scientific calculator, a unit converter, a stock quote service, and populates the search with desktop results and my web history.

I use Google because it's the default search engine in Safari, and for good reason too.

Google has the best results, and it's very clean.

Yahoo has almost as good results, but looking at it's front page gives me a headache.

MSN sucks at results, and it M-S-frickin'-N. I wouldn't touch it with a 4 foot pole.

Ask is just... meh. It has good results, but something about it annoys me.

Dogpile is decent, but IMO the results are messy.

Google, because here it's the quickest to load. Plus, it's clean and easy to navigate.

Google. Fast, easy, and effective.

Dogpile may compile results from more than one search engine, but then it tosses them at you in a jumbled-up mess. In the end, you're better off just trying each search engine individually.

Google. It’s the best search engine for me. Hey, what other search engine will help you out when you’re on a date?

Huh? Is that serious or not. If it is, that's pretty sad. While it makes sense, I would "trust" it less than other online dating things, which I have never used and never will.

Maybe it's that annoying English guy named Jeeves? Annoys the hell out of me.

No. It was an April fool's joke. I fail to recall, however, what year it was for.

I usually just use google. I think, though, for research, Answers.com is quite good, though I suspect RefDesk.com is the best, if not too full of links.

Of course, you could always have Googled it... :)

I use Google. Fast, clean, useful.

Google, because it's a real verb now, in the disctionary.

Actually, because no crap starts up when you go there. It's also my start page.
