I want to race the Tsukuba 9 Hours in a Tuned RM car (those premiums which can be modificated for competition) Which is the best choice? I'm looking for a 610-630 RP car(if it's japanese better:tup:)

You could try the Acura NSX RM '91:tup:

Be sure to buy a few grades of tires to give yourself some variety during the race. Its quite tedious.:yuck:

Good luck!

These cars sound quite good, specially the Acura (but I think their points are a bit low), do you think the Tuscan Speed 6 RM would be a good option?

I dont think it would do well in Tsukuba, but maybe I'm wrong. Tsukuba is a track that reward grip more than anything and the Tuscan for me is more a top speed car than a grip car.

I didnt actually drove the RM version in GT5 so again I could be wrong.

Either of the Elise RMs, but the older one in particular, would be a good choice. Can be tuned up to be very competitive in that class of car, but they won't chew up tires or fuel nearly as fast as any of the cars there so you can build yourself a bit of a cushion.

Use the WRX, but don't fully upgrade the power or it will be too easy.

The WRX isn't able to be racing modified. I second the NSX. Its a small track so you need a light car that has good acceleration and grip. The NSX is probably the best on the list for that.

I'd suggest the Tuscan, for with the right gearing and the proper setup... it has gobs of downforce, and doesn't eat tyres alive as much as something else could do.

I did that in the zr-1 RM, matched the PP to 2nd place but forgot to shorten the tranny, so i never got out of 3rd or 4th gear, boy was that difficult

If that happened to me I would have quit first lap and made sure it was right

I was hoping to get a car where I actually had a challenge against the other cars, like a road going car? What are the regulations for the race, not at home right now

There are no limitations in the 9 hr Tsukuba and I ran it with the Elise 111R RM tuned to 520pp on Sports Hard. Even then it was a pretty easy win so you may be able to tweak it down to 500?

The cars that you have to beat are the Mines Evo and the HKS Evo plus a couple of Amuse S2000 GT1's so whatever you use it needs to handle well else you are fighting your car for 9 hours!!!!
