I know, I know, Willow Springs posts as its own moniker, "the Fastest Course in the West," but I am wondering which of GT6's real world courses yields the highest average lap speed. Initial comparison that came to mind
1. Put down ten decent/pushing laps on RHs on these two courses
Circuit de la Sarthe
Willow Springs
2. Determine average lap time
3. Determine avg mph from avg lap time
4. Tell us about it here, please.
Note to all you literalists out there: this thread is intended to create some lighthearted (but still mildly scientific) exploration on a theme/idea which is already a bit of puffery (in the advertising sense of the word. For Example, Bob's Big 'ol Burger serves the world's juiciest hamburger. Of course this claim is ludicrous (and OK to make), because it's untestable. that's called puffery.) In other words, of course you can hit your top speed at Special stage Route X, but... Also, perhaps as a control, you might first determine your test car's avg mph at a course like Daytona Superspeedway. (Did that one even return for GT6 - I don't think I've encountered it yet...?)
