Let's say you're stuck in a race you can't win, after 3 or 4 tries you still can't finish in 1st place...which car do you usually go to, to get that win?

Mine has got the be the Minolta, always comes through when I need that 1st place finish..

I love that car

I usually start tuning, but if I had to pick one I would say the stealth McLaren F1 is my go to car.

If I'm desperate, the X2010/11. Otherwise its a fully modded ZR1 RM, almost as fast as the lmp cars, easier to handle.

Lately the only time this comes up is when I'm testing my tuning abilities on an unlikely win at the American Championship Laguna Seca event in Extreme. Latest conquer is a Lexus GS300 Vertex Edition '00 with everything short of S3 Engine and Weight Reduction and RS tires. Next up: same car without S2 Weight Reduction.

I should say that it's nice to rip out the 2J for this, though.

I have several, The GT-R GT500 Stealth,Mclaren F1 Stealth,Mazda 787B Stealth,GT-R R35 TC,GT-R '09, Tommy Kaira ZZII,Bentley 8 speed, Toyota GT-One,Audi R8 race car '01,all 3 Zonda road cars really to many to mention. So many great cars when setup right.

For 500PP, Subaru Impreza Rally Car '03.

Don't have to worry about other PP levels though...

It's awesome, like a beefed up kart almost!

Yeah! The thing has so much lightness and downforce you don't even need to brake often. You just turn.

I've been taking a likening to the Super GT cars again. :)

How can there even be an answer to this question? Every race has different competition so a different car would be fast enough to win it. Sure, you can just use an FGT and win every non-PP-regulated race but where's the fun in that?

I pretty much always use the car I start an event with to finish it. There's lots of time to be gained just from practicing the track and car. If that's not quite enough I'll buy a part or two. Of course this sometimes means I'll spend an hour or two on each race if I'm cutting it close.
