So I'm gonna buy a nascar and wanna buy the best, since I don't wanna buy a crappy car and then buy a better car later..

What's your experiences with the nascars?
Which one should I go for?

I have a Ford Nascar and it does the job fine. I don't know how much of a difference there is between the different makes or even if there is any at all. However going on price alone, the Toyota Nascar is much cheaper. This may be because it is inferior...

Not to sure, but just use the Nascar you get from golding the Nascar special event. 👍

This thread is very humorous in that I am seeing references to NASCAR as though it was a car model.

dont by jeff gordens he will comment on your driving

the one that says coast gaurd is bad, the gauges are not even stright in cabin view

I'm no Nascar pro... Plus I've seen multiple different manufacturers supply Nascars so yeah, there are technically different car models of it. :)

The best NASCAR car is Kevin Harvick's #29 Chevy Impala!
Wait, his car's not in the game...(sigh)

J.P. Montoya's 👍

Yup I'd go for Montoya's.

If his NASCAR is anything like the F1 cars he drove it'll have the special ability of being able to crash into everyone and get away without damage.

Yet another idiot from American "motorsport" who found out he wasn't quite as hot as he had been led to believe.

They're actually called "stock cars," not "NASCARs."

N.ational A.ssociation for S.tock C.ar A.uto R.acing

In theory, they are all supposed to have the same performance, be it aero/engine/suspension....in theory, so it shouldn't matter.

That different manufacturers support the sport does not make one stock car (that's what they're called by the way) better than another. It simply means they'll have some different body shapes (very slight differences) and different manufacturer decals on them. In NASCAR (the sport) the stock cars (Cup cars) are built to very rigid specifications that are meant to ensure the cars are very closely matched come race day. The only way competitors gain an advantage is in how they tune the cars (gearing, suspension, etc...), which must stay within strict rules which are verified before each race on every car in the race.

In summary, pick whatever car floats your boat. If you like red, they've got one. If you like green, well they have green ones too. Although, red does make them go faster as HN7 pointed out.

Brian Vickers #83 did the job for me!
And I bought that before completing the NASCAR school, I got JPM #42 After that >.<

Don't buy a stock car. The NASCAR school is pretty easy to get all gold on (turn off ALL assists) and then you get a free one.

I hope when i finally beat the NASCAR school I don't get one of the cars I alreday have again. I'm trying to collect them all and getting one for free will help make that much quicker, as long as its not Jeff Gordon's or Kyle Busch's.

I have Vickers' car too. I like the Red Bull branding.

Who, Juan Pablo Montoya, the Colombian from Columbia?
That's the one. Where else would a Columbian be from? The only person to race Indy 500, Brickyard 400, and F1 USGP @ Indy. He did well in all of them including winning the Indy 500.

I'll still never understand why PD didn't license 5 mor cars so we could have a 16 car race, or at least make up some fake liveries so we wouldn't have to race 2 Dale jrs and 2 Jeff Gordons. Ughh, it makes me sick to my stomach.

This slightly bothers me aswell. For exaple, they only have one car from Rousch Racing which is Carl Edwards. So why couldn't they add other Rousch cars such as Matt Kenseth. They also could have put Mark Martin in the game considering they have the other three Hendrick drivers. It's not as if it would have been difficult to add more cars either, its simply just changing the liveries.

I love my #99 Ford Fusion, it has a duck on it!

I think you need to brush up on your history. JPM raced on McLaren's F3000 team and was a full time tester for Williams F1, then Frank Williams traded JPM for Alex Zanardi with Chip Ganassi and thus JPM ended up in Champ Car for a few years before returning to Williams F1 for a race seat.

Yup that's the one.

Regardless of where he was born, American motorsport is where he made his name before bluffing his way into F1. His mid-season side-lining in McLaren in an utterly embarrassing scenario for both team and him was the pinnacle of his career.

As Ross Braun said,

"He's not a very classy driver"

... and Ross was right; he's not. He represents the pinnacle of American motorsport the world over. Those who were good enough to win American series but were an utter failure when matched against the best in the world.

So I guess you feel the same about Alex Zanardi, who had an abysmal F1 career but dominated in Champ Car? Or is he different because he was a crowd favourite? What about Jacques Villeneuve who won the CART championship, then went on to F1 and won the WDC too?

Doing like the wind in one of them 950k nissan race cars that top out at 200 maxed out is great practice for stock car :). Cause you have to draft and take the turns perfectly on the oval to even get up the field cause you are down about 30mph top end from every car on the track. Best i could do with it was 3rd tho :( first is doable but you have to run every lap flawlessly and be right on the top 2 or 3 to even have a chance to draft pass them before the finish.

Far as what one is the best it is whatever one you like the paint job on....they all supposed to be dead even at lest.
