none of these cars sound exciting.

Yeah I agree.. the VWs seem like they'd be good, but I'm not that excited about the Toyota 86 nor am I excited about the 2012 GTR because I fail to see how it will drive any different to the old R35.

... I did however vote the Toyota 86 as it is a new car not just a facelift or refresh. Would loved to have had some FPVs and HSVs but hey I guess us Australians don't matter.. USA and Europe is alot further away than we are but you know.. 👎

I think it's much faster then any previous GT-R. I may be wrong though.

2012 GTR by far! I was just thinking a couple days ago how good it would be to have the 2011/12 spec R35 in the game :D

The GT-86 (aka Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ). I love the current FT-86 prototype in GT5- the car feels absolutely electric (and I don't mean the engine). It really feels like an updated version of the venerable AE86- well balanced, quick and agile.

Next would be the R35 GTR- sure there's already like over 10 different R35 (the proto, the proto-LM, the real proto, the black mask proto etc.) but it's one of my favorite car so they can more R35 my way (hopefully the GT1 and the GT3 soon) and I'll not be tired of it.

SVX
I don't have GT5, but if I did, I'd drive the GT 86 first.
Do you just like to hang out with the cool kids here or what? ;)

Anyhow, I love 'em all, naturally, but we don't have the Scirocco in the States so that's my pic. I'm pleased to see so many intelligent choices, and not everyone glomming onto the super Nissan or grumping that everything blows.

Altho I'm not a VAG fan, I'm looking forward to drive the new VW's. Probably not going to buy the Mini and the GT-R.

Pleasant surprise to see actually new models in GT5 not just RM'ed old ones like last time. 👍

As i've test driven the golf i voted for that and it is the best looking golf since the mark 1. All are good. I just wish there were more than that and about 10 new tracks. I would like to have spent more money on more content but the quality is good.

Scirocco all the way. My other half really likes the look of them so may be an IRL contender.

Yeah hoping the next DLC will be tracks instead :)

why are people so excited about this stupid 86. Its not new? its the same POS that's in the game already. It doesn't even look any different. I hate that damn car.

I'm really just venting because I finally took the time to do the license tests and that stupid FT-86 is holding me up on all golds in the slalom. I hate that thing.

VWs are slow, so its a shame they didn't use the AWD model...

I am happy about the update and DLC, just don't get the excitement people have for the scion...

Althoug I might agree with the fact that the car looks too much like a photoshoped version of the concept, and in the picture it does not look like the production model for some reason, I do look forward to drive it. That little car promisess a lot of fun with it's RWD and super low weight combo.

And the joy of loving cars goes beyond them being slow or fast. Most of us are thankful that we are getting new cars in the game even if it was a 60hp kei car or a 1000hp super exotic.

I personally can't wait to drive the wheels off those Vee Dubs :)

Oh I'm buying the DLC, I race in the 450-550pp area usually, just really don't like that 86 right now

They will all be a new experience, I was not overly excited about the cars per say but I want to purchase them and see how they drive, who knows I may love them. AND they could be used for some future spec racing so that would be cool.

I'm most interested in the 125SP kart because we already have DLC jr kart, 100 kart and 125 kart along with the original pdi 100 kart so odds are this could very well be a shifter kart and that would be awesome.....it would be annoying if it was just another centrifugal kart. I want to SHIFT!!! IF it's a shifter it will deff get some good use, if it's just another 125 with the SP meaning Special Paint as another user said somewhere else then it will just collect virtual dust because why would I want a special painted 125 when I can paint the 125 I already have?
