But B-Spec XP is in proportion to XP needed to level up.
Also you get to use soft tyres in the Formula GT race for B-Spec.
I found the FGT race in A-Spec to be quite easy actually.
Default setup.
Less effort is needed from you to win a B-Spec race.

I found it relatively easy the FGT championship on A-spec too. The XP needed to level up is the same for both A-spec and B-spec. You get a lot less XP and not as many events on B-spec to get up to level 40 hence requiring to grind a lot. I've yet to grind once on A-spec and I'm Level 34 with 5 endurance races left.

Again effort is not difficulty, difficulty for this is how hard is it to Gold the events compared to A-Spec. Nascar championship looks the hardest to me for B-spec.

But since time taken is also not difficulty, you could just grind your Bob up to level 40.

B-spec is only hard in the races where you're limited to putting Bob in the same or similar performance car as the competition.
Everything else - and that's most races - you can just put him in one that's a few hundred bhp up on the closest opponent and then go do something else. No command inputs required from you.

My b-spec drivers have just finished a couple of championships in the background while I've been playing a PC game and surfing the web. The only thing missing is an option to queue up b-spec races so they needed absolutely zero attention :).

B-Spec is harder at the start. Winning is more difficult when BOB is a bad driver.

However, after about level 25 or so, BOB doesn't lose...for me, anyway. He dominated the NASCAR and FGT both (lapped field in FGT)...something I cannot do.

So im at level 25 A-spec and 0 B-spec, but ive decided its time to win me some new cars... all I can say is B-spec is really boring, unless your in the mood for watching essentially just a replay, and there are times when watching replays is actually what we do sometimes, just to admire the car models and tracks.

But yea A-spec over B-spec any day, Im glad they separated the two, GT4's major floor for me is that I usually just B-spec'd a lot of the races, which I didn't like doing but the option was there to cheat, but now its not really cheating.

B-Spec by some degree IMO...

In A-Spec, if I haven't won an event, it's usually because I've made a mistake during the event or I've set the car up wrong so this would either be corrected by practice or changing the car set-up. On the other odd occasions I'm simply not good enough and I'd be happy to accept that.

In B-Spec, despite being able to select the driver's character to a limited degree, it really is a case of pot-luck in what kind of driver you get...

In my case (lvl 14) I have 3 drivers with different stats with regard to cornering, braking, aggression etc...

Bob1: Quite a smooth, calm driver, but cannot handle it when the heat is turned up when surrounded by other drivers...

Bob2: Agressive, loves a scrap with other drivers (good at overtaking) but dozes off if he has a big lead and doesn't like tight corners (still my best driver)

Bob3: an absolute maniac... very aggressive (although very quick), has no concept of braking points and has been involved in some bizarre crashes... I have actually kept this driver for entertainment purposes because I wonder what he will do next :boggled:

The point here is that B-Spec is more difficult to control with the randomness introduced by the different drivers

Anyone who actually sticks around to watch all the b-spec races is in dire need of a new hobby :p.
Yes, at low levels Bob may lose on occasion even in a seriously overpowered car, but otherwise said overpowered car is pretty much a guaranteed win without any commands from you. Go do something else - use your computer, read a book, make dinner, whatever - while your b-spec drivers earn easy money for you.

Personally I usually run b-spec in the background while I'm at my computer.

same here 👍 but still sometimes he manages to lose with ten times better car.. 💡

That only happens to me if I forget what kind of car and tire requirements there are. I sometimes give them a car WAY too powerful for something like sports hard and it's drift city all day on a track they shouldn't be doing that on. Give them the right car and the occasional "Good job, GO FASTER" and it's easy peasy.

Time consuming is not difficulty necessarily.
That's my point exactly! B Spec is just putting in the time. Easy, just tedious.

Difficulty is how hard you find winning a race event / championship. Basically admitting B-spec is easier is saying Bob is a better driver than you as you struggle to do the races as well as him. It is more convenient for Bob to grind the races, I agree but do you find yourself slower than Bob in lap and race time? Doing the Nascar and the Formula GT championship is much easier on A-Spec than B-Spec and you definately can't do that sleeping.
I ALWAYS find myself faster than Bob, but in races that he wasn't fast enough to walk away, I would just give him the best car and a good tune and keep running it until he won, which usually started with restarting the race until the difficult cars either weren't there or were near the back. It was just a matter of time, but was never any more difficult. If I was slow in A Spec, it either meant the same difficulty as B Spec (finding a powerful car and tuning it) or driving faster, improving my skill, which is much harder than sitting back and hoping I win.

Even if my car was faster, I still had to drive, which is much harder than just pushing pace up over and over. I don't remember NASCAR on B Spec, but FGT was a piece of cake. As others have said, My Bob finished each race with 1 lap on the entire field. FGT was one place where he was faster than me, as I would finish first in all but one race, but rarely a lap ahead.

The hardest race in B Spec (Historic Event) was still just a matter of fastest car possible, push pace up, and wait for the win. The very easiest A Spec race took more effort and concentration than that. You really don't have an argument here...
