I'm looking for a really good stable racing car. Out of these, which one would you say is the absolute best.

-Xanavi Nismo Z '06
-Xanavi Nismo GT-R '08
-GT-R R35 TC
-McLaren

(Considering they'd all be completely maxed out).

I hope someone who has driven, or knows a lot about these cars can shed some light on which one's the best.

Thanks.

Properly tuned R35TC will beat out the LMP Cars easily.

Grab that one and get a good tune.

The GT500 Cars are generally too slow in a straight line, due to their high downforce. even after been maxed out.

The Mclaren (Im guessing you mean the F1) is just terrible. Awful handling... drives like its on butter.

Im a Nurb tuner so... the way i run my R35 TC is by far the best of all those options. one of my top 5 cars in the game for sure

Are you just getting started with the game and don't have many cars? I would race that Nismo GT-R '08 in the 650pp seasonal at Laguna Seca for some $$. I remember doing that ALOT before I had alot of cars. And you can do the GT-500 seasonal with it as well but I would recommend the Weider Honda HSV as the quickest GT-500 car in high HP/PP races.

I've been playing for a decent amount of time, not too long though. Several breaks since GT5's release. I held off on buying any Nissan just yet, but I guess now I'll go for the GT-R R35 TC. I already bought the F1 McLaren to test it out, I don't find it that bad, the GT-R R35's probably better though. Got lots of money from a specific seasonal event, but gonna follow your advice gump. Got enough for a Zonda R, and now just getting 1 or 2 other premium cars.

the r35 tc is a dlc car and comes with alot of other tc's as well ax the x1. expensive, but definitely worth it

ZONDA R. my ring rider... got a wonderful 650pp tune for ya if you buy it.

It'll give me sub 6 minute times in the 650pp ring seasonal.

???

Depends on if SRF is allowed. High powered 4wd cars benefit greatly from SRF "cheat-driving"

I only race without SRF .. and assuming skill level is equal, R35 TC isn't touching LMP ...

(Plus, R35 TC Tops at 702 PP... LMP goes up to 740+, no contest)

The GT500 Cars are generally too slow in a straight line, due to their high downforce. even after been maxed out.

This is also untrue. The GT500 cars are the fastest thing on the road in the 575-625pp region (spare Detuned LMP's which is just STUPID) ... assuming you use the right ones.

ALL of the Nissan SuperGT cars have low HP for their PP because of too much torque.. which effects their speed negatively. The Supra's handle like doo-doo. Go for an NSX instead. No one will catch you. I like the Mobil 1 NSX. The Weider is also a great contender. .

The Mclaren (Im guessing you mean the F1) is just terrible. Awful handling... drives like its on butter.

He is referring to Race cars so I assume he means the McLaren F1 GTR which is an amazing Car for 650-675 PP. Cant think of any cars that can beat me at that level

I am also, hope to see you out there, will gladly take on your R35 which is, well, I have my reservations about it

1) I would have to say... the R35 is quicker than lmps on many occasions.

2) he was speaking of premium cars. So mobil 1 is out of the question.
2b) compared to the R35 and F1 GTR they are horribly slow (and useless in 650pp races

3) Yes I think your right. The F1 GTR is very good. For some reason I thought he ment the premium one.
3b) Zonda R for sure is faster (at peast around the ring)

4) and haha sure your on ;) allthough I much prefer my Zonda R over the R35. I'd accept the challenge 👍

You guys are getting all mixed up, I actually meant the Benz McLaren. I think I got a bit confused earlier as well. I can't afford the McLaren F1 right now, I heard that one's more expensive than the Zonda. Bought my Zonda yesterday theace, and still wondering what the best settings were. I kept mine at default, I'm not really a specialist when it comes to technicalities like that. It seems to work pretty good as it is though. I do have enough money for one of those Honda cars, The Weider looks exceptional.

People frown on 4WD for performance potential, but I'm running a 617pp Black Edition in the Tsukuba Real World Circuit event for consistent wins as long as the R92CP doesn't lead the pack. I have to imagine the TC would be even quicker with the downforce advantage.

In light of the amendment to rule out the McLaren F1 in favor of the SLR, the SLR's curb weight and COG prevent it from being anywhere near a contender.
