As above, justwon 24hr nurb, but now cant find anywhere to race my new baby!

Tried searching for 15 minutes, but all i found out was camber settings and the fact you cant but tyres!

You can race it in all events, apart from:
- Manufacturers events
- Most, if not all of the country-specific events
- Rally events that requires Dirt/Snow tyres
- The events that prohibits Racing tyres (you can't buy new tyres for the F1)
- "Unmodified cars only" events

I think that's about it :)

That about sums it up ;)

or just sell it/never drive it as F1s shouldn't be in the game anyway.

Out of interest has any1 won the Formula GT championship without using an f1 car?
If so what car did you use? 👍
I've heard of it happening. I believe there's a write-up or two floating around here somehwere where people have used LMPs (the only type of car with the remotest chance of keeping up) for the series. The Audi R8 seems to be the most popular choice for it. But personally, I'm gonna use an F1 (once I win the "McLaren" Edition, I currently have the "Ferrari") because they're rather challenging to drive.

Over at GameFaQs someone put 200 pounds of ballast and removed a lot of the downforce to get close to 200 a-spec points in all races of the F1 GT Championship.

Well, Considering that the 'stock' F1 can be made to lap 1-3 seconds faster than the AI and all the races are around 1 hour long it is not too hard to get 1 minute + lead by the end of the race. So if you are looking for a challenge (or just want more than the standard 60 points), ballast and less downforce is one way to do it.

One thing that makes it a little boring for people is that all cars are on the same pit schedule so if you manage to get in front and don't go harder on your tires than the AI you don't have to worry about anything else other than not making mistakes. In other series there is a little more strategy involved in the pit stops.

Here is the link to the thread (most of the ballasted F1 discussion starts on page 2)

ok ppl look i want to do the 24 hour race, wats the best car for the race.
The 24 hour race? Which one? Try it in the 3 wheel midget. And if that's not the answer you want, why not have a look round and see what other people have used. There are a few write ups in the race reports forum.

And why are you hijacking this thread with a totally unrelated question?
