I have to admit the feedback and sound you get from Sports Hard tyres is great, likewise the grip with sports soft but I cannot for the life of me get on with slicks.. at all.

What is your take and which tyres do you prefer??

If medium compounds, just state below.

I actually quite like CS in GT6. In GT5 they always felt a little funny to drive with to me and I never worked out why but on GT6 I enjoy using them. They cut a nice medium between comfort and sport tyres and have enough grip to keep you on track without too much fuss but just the right amount so that you have to pay a bit more attention and you can have some fun too.

CS tires have good feedback, but I also feel it's much easier to understeer with them than with SH (not counting the improved grip, just the balance feeling), so SH have my preference.

The best are obviously racing soft, but they are not the easiest to use. I think this all depends of the car, its power and it's weight.

I get on fine with all of them, RS are of course the fastest but using them is a bit to easy and kind of like cheating. I generally use either Sports tires any compound or RH tires in most races. I can't say i am crazy about CH tires but I can drive on them just need to go slower

My votes for Comfort Soft and Sports Hard - great tyres to feel on the limit, even with super sports and racing cars. Not to mention loads of fun. 👍 And it must be said, both compounds a huge leap over the GT5 versions. The racing tyres in GT6, not so keen; hard to feel where the limit is and they don't feel as 'sharp' as they should in terms of slip angle. For my money, slip curve also seems a bit too steep on the drop-off.

Racing Softs are the best, but feel like a God-Mode cheat that is just one touch better than SRF. I like to use Sport Softs on street cars and Racing Hards on race cars. The problem with this is that most online pickup races are chuck full of RS tires; but I like when I can compete and place in a race against all the other cars with God tires on.

I hate Comfort tires...seriously, why would you use radials when racing on a track??? I went to a grassroots Sports Car race last summer and people were making fun of the cars using radials. Sure, it sounded elitist, but it still happened.

I liked to use sport soft tires better than hard and soft racing tires. Soft racing tires are too much grippy for my DS3... I guess I will buy a new steering wheel.

Race cars preferably with Racing softs (first), then racing mediums, or hards to follow. That's how I roll.

Sports Hard too, long ago (at least last year :D) i was used to use RS on those 550 PP nurburgring races and could get along nicely with the others. At some point i joined GTP and on-line events with max Sports Hard or Racing Hards tyres. Now i'm used to it and i don't want to go back, its more realistic and fun to drive. So now i suck at driving at Racing Softs . I really don't understand why one puts racing softs on a renault clio or something, where's the fun in that?
