Which View Do You Drive In?

I was wondering what view most people use. Since GT5 I've been driving with nothing on the screen. I liked the view, seemed to go faster and all that. But the other night I put it into cockpit view where you see 'your hands' and all that, and call me crazy, but it seemed like the car handled differently, more realistically I thought.

Being that the bottom of the screen was taken up by the steering wheel and such I had to look further down the track (something I was trying to train myself to do in 'nothing view' but never really got down).

I don't suppose that thy physics changes with the view, so if your driving a car as if you we're sitting on the hood it will change the way you handle it, which is not necessarily the way it should be right?

Physics certainly don't change just your perception. I use cockpit exclusively after years of "bumper" view. Much more immersive to me. You do get more camera bounce which I like.

Cockpit view on open wheeled cars is fantastic fun. I can only imagine that the new Sony VR headset with 90 degree surround will be amazing with cockpit view on GT7(?).
