Which would you prefer

Man, thats a tough choice! LM cars are fun to race and to collect to show off your friends that you have this car and they don't. But to me personally, I still prefer road cars. But Street Racers are fun when it become to open enviroment racing, like Midnight Club, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, and the up and coming (my most anticipating racer besides GT4) Kaido Battle: Drift Racer. LM is better to race in closed circuit tracks, but for Steet Racers open enviroment is the way to go.

How would a LM street handle on a regular street

It would bottom out all over the place, unless it was turned into a track and smoothed over like Monaco, Long Beach, Le Mans etc.

if you live in north america, you're going to have to settle with an import for kaido battle, seeing as it's been canned. hope your japanese is up to snuff.

heard it on ign, gamespot, spong, cvg, etc. dont worry though, as it seems genki is stepping up to the plate with a game suspiciously titled "kaidou battle", and it is confirmed for the us. genki makes nice games, so you wont be dissapointed. its most likely better than sammi's cancelled mountain racer anyhow, but i havent played either of them so i wouldnt know.

The whole idea of the GT games is or was to get bog standard cars and race them then mod them to win more races n credits n so on. But personally I prefer LM cars slightly more there much more fun to drive, I think there should be more streetcars in GT4 GT3 relies to much on'R' cars.

I'd rather have more road cars. I like the LM cars and all, but they're all very similar in terms of performance and handling. I find I usually just pick whichever I think looks best.

indeed, if you only want to race LM-cars, you should prefer dtm-racer and racing revolution above GT4.

Road-cars are doing the job 👍 , and this doesn't mean they always have to be "stock", Unleash some fine engineering and you'll be driving a high-performance car in no time!!!

The emphasis is on only wanting to race LM cars, I prefer them to the road cars but I don't want to just race in LM cars, I enjoy turning a humble road car into a tarmac eating supercar and then racing it.

DTM racer and R:Racing evolution both lack the handling in GT4, besides GT4 will have more race cars than DTM racer or R:RE and have tonnes of road cars as well, not to mention more tracks.
