This thread is no longer where i post as good few months ago i became part of Team Shmo and all my new tunes are being posted there. So head on over and find yourself more great tunes from myself and Shmogt

Hey all, having spent the past few months learning to drift, and then learning to tune cars for drifting, i have decided to begin sharing some of the tunes i have made when i havent been able to find tunes for the car, or havent been happy with the ones i have found (and in some cases, just been too lazy to fire up the pc to find a tune).

All the tunes shown here have achieved a consecutive drift of over 25,000 points in a lap of Tsukuba Circuit by myself using a DS3 controller.

Most of the tunes will have had most of the settings setup on Tsukuba, but generally are setup to work well on most tracks, and are all using a manual transmission and ABS set to 1

Hope you enjoy these tunes as much as i do

Whisp 187

PS i will consider requests for tunes, just ask

This is the first tune i managed to get above 25,000 points in one drift on Tsukuba and turned out to be surprisingly easy to drift considering its size and power

Decided it would be entertaining to see what the DeLorean would be like to drift, but never expected it to be this good. It responds very well to any adjustments made mid drift and can hold a drift so easily.

I'm not quite sure what I expected when i began decided tuning this, but I never thought it would drift so smoothly as it does. Its alot of fun to drift and changes direction without any hassle

I have been waiting to get hold of one of these for ages, but just never came up in the UCD, and then yesterday my cousin sent me one to tune totally outta the blue, sooo overjoyed i instantly jumped straight into making it drift and wasn't disappointed. From initial LSD and suspension tweaks it was a complete beast and was getting high scores, and after a few more tweaks i finally managed to get my first 30k on Tsukuba :D

It just seems to take so little effort to get major angle and hold it all the way round the bend, i was so surprised with it having over 1000bhp and yet doesn't seem to want to spin out all the time. Hope you have as much fun with this as i did

Lol ya banners look nice but screw over the phones. I'm thinking of something to fix that tho. I haven't put up my clio tune in my garage it was just fluke you are only a few points from the settings I used.

Don't you just love drifting muscle cars hehe, was an interesting one to tune as the back just wanted to whip all the way round constantly, but finally managed to get the rear in control, still whips out a fair bit, but is pretty easy to control and hold at big angles. Its just alot of fun to drift

I got a request to tune this car and seeing as how i play for fun, i dont care about it being 4wd, and wound up having alot of fun gettin it sideways, it get big angles and holds them with such ease and just powerslides without much effort round most courses, tho on slower tracks it can benefit from the stage 2 turbo to make it a bit easier to light up the wheels.

Was so much frustration in trying to tame this beast, all it wanted to do was spin out constantly, but after alot of patience i finally managed to tame it enough to start calling it a drift monster, that just loves to hang the back end out there.
But be warned, the beast it once was still lurks beneath and if you get complacent, it will attack...

After trying that r34, which was sick btw, i can't wait to try this carlton out! Keep em coming!

Imma try that Carlton. I wanted to do one since it looks cool.

If you do give it a bash, let me know what you think, all comments are welcomed :)

hehe, im just glad we dont have to pay for each set of tires for the carlton, coz it would chew em up in no time

That Carlton is a real wolf in sheep's clothing. It was about time someone made a drift tune for this puppy.:)

BTW, I really like your Chevy tune.👍 Even so, my favorite old muscle car to drift is the Corvette Coupe (C2) '63. Have you considered tuning that car? I highly recommend it, if you haven't tried it yet. It drifts very smoothly and it's easy to control. It almost feels like it's gliding through the corners.

Hehe its easy to underestimate the carlton, took me ages to tune that an its good to know its not goin unloved by others :)
Might just hav to take a look at the '63 chevy, theres just too many possible cars to play with that alot get overlooked

4,5,6 gears are close but impossible to get. Other than that it's pretty good. It's a little twitchy on some turns I found which made my runs not super consistent but still all them were good. Best was 28,000.

Thats odd that you found it hard to get 4, 5 and 6 hard to get as the whole box is what it gives when set to 155mph (after i rest to default) unless you just mean that for you they were effectively useless gears?

i managed to get 29000 outta it a couple times but mainly were around the 28k mark, must just be diferrent styles so slightly diff setups works better as we found before lol

The gears were close but mine were shorter than what your values said. Maybe since you pressed default first.

Was suggested that i try this car out for drifting one day, and its day has come and i wish i had tried it sooner, its just sooo easy to drift that i was constantly gettin scores around 28.5k with the highest score at 29.2k which realy surprised me and it didnt seem to take alot of effort.

Nice Vette tune!👍 I'm glad you finally tried it. I don't know why, but that car really suits my drifting style.:)

The other car I really like to drift is the Cerbera Speed 6 '97. Eventhough I'm not good at tuning, I was still able to set my personal best drifting score with that car.

Cheers, was definitly glad you suggested tryin it, is a fun car to drift once i got over tryin to stop the body roll and learne to accept it lol
I think i may have tried driftin a speed 6 a while ago, they just take alot of work to set them up right, but its the SL600 tune i have up that holds my tsukuba personal best and im struggling to beat it lol

Comments: I think this one has become my new fave toy for online, spent a good few hours tearing up tsukuba and suzuka east in this, and is just at home online as it is offline where its managed to get 5th on my top scores list :D and im pretty sure if i spent as much time drifting offline as i did online then this could easily be a contender for the topspot, but its just too much fun to drift when you dont have to squeeze everything outta it

Loving the tunes! Any chance of a tune for the genkie hyper silvia? Or the bp falken rx7? That rx7 is a beast stock, so in wonder of what it would be liked tuned.

Cheers man :) I will have a look at one (or both) and see what can be done with them, but im kinda not using this garage any more as i have started helping out at Team Shmo Drifting so if i do get them done, they will end up there, i did try driftin the falken once over when i was starting out drifiting and dint get along with it, so maybe now im alot more cometant, i should pay it a visit

How about a 66 cobra?

There is a tune for an AC 427 SC '66 up in Team Shmo Drifting which im pretty sure should work just as well on the 66 Cobra

You might want to change that to AWD. The torque split is 10/90, which means it's still giving out power on the front tires, which means it is not a RWD car. ;)
