I have the US NTSC GT3 game disc. The only colors I have availiable for the US spec Acura Integra Type R is Black or Yellow.
I was looking through the GT3 stradegy guide book and in it, it has a picture of a white Acura Integra Type R (US spec with the front circle eye lights)

Whats up with this? How come I don't have a white one in my game? Can this be hybrided?

Well, unfortunately, you cannot make a car a different color than what's available for that specific car. I feel your pain man, I would love to have the Championship White USDM Acura Integra Type R, but it's just not possible. I think it's only available in the PAL version of GT3.;)

Chances are it wasn't a game shot, since the "Acura" ITR is only available in black or yellow in ANY version of the game.

However, the real-life EU Honda ITR had the porthole headlights and came in white, red or black (initally) with white wheels.

Apart from the 98 EU ITR, which actually had the JDM style headlights. But they are as rare as ****.

It was a gameshot. Its in the GT stradegy book. The pic looks legit.

An alert Type R owner pointed out some differences between the Canadian-spec 2000 Type R and the U.S. model.

Canadian models are available in Yellow and Championship White only while U.S. models also come in black but not white..
Canadian models are available with or without air conditioning.
Canadian Type R's don't come with the aluminum shift knob available on U.S. cars, and the faux carbon fiber trim is limited to the gauge cluster only.

apparently for this specific year it was only available in white in canada
i also would like to know if its possible to get a white ITR US spec

Please read carefully... He is refering to the USDM Integra (Acura=round headlights)... The vehicle you are refering to is the JDM Integra (Honda=rectangular headlights)....

The JDM Integra is available in black, silver, red, and white...

The USDM Integra is available in black and yellow...

;)

yes actually North America Honda replace White DC2R with Yellow after 2000
i am not sure about US, but that's for canada
so i believe after 2000, there's no 'official' white DC2R

To answer the original question, Yes it can be built using hybriding. Easy enough to swap bodies or names between the 2 versions.

No it can't. You can change the body to get the colour but you'll still be left with the different headlight (well, different front-end) array.

I forgot to mention that the JDM Integra also comes in yellow... I don't know why I left that out...
