Do you race?
... IMSA? Wasn't that the forerunner to JGTC which collapsed because the cars were too expensive and no-one watched it because they weren't standard production cars?

IMSA ran sportscar racing in America in the 80s. All three of those cars ran in it, but in different classes. The 300ZXs were GTS, the other car a full blown prototype or whatever they refered to it as back then.

I hope they got some data on that black/grey open wheeler on the upper right in the first pic :)

That's an old Indy Racing League car, from the days when they used to use Infiniti engines.

The prototype appears likely to be an NPT-90 or NPT-91. It is most definately not a ZX-Turbo, R89CK, R90CK, R91CP, or NPT-91A.

This one is the NPT-90:

Excellent work guys. Here are the Nissan prototypes that we now know have been tested:
GTP-ZXT (new pd photos)
NPT90 (new pd photos)
R89C (seen in game)
R90CP (pal prologue ending movie)

Edit:
NPTI=Nissan Performance Technology Incorporated (NPTI)

Surely these two are pictures of the "GTP ZX-TURBO" I say this because it's written on the car... twice...

Or am I missing something here?!

Yeti, both photos in your post are of the updated version of the ZX-turbo known as the NPT-90.
The older GTP-ZX turbos do not have NPTI prefix(Nissan Performance Technology Incorporated)as the company had not been founded at that point.
The car below is the older ZX-t that was originally based on a Lola chassis.

I've figured out the Daihatsu and Honda (A Honda Today G), as well as most of the bottom half of the Mazda list (they're all Eunos Roadsters/Roadsters), and the two listed underneath the RX-8s (Atenzas).

I Still need the other Mazdas as well as the Mazda ending with 2000 Type-R.

LANTIS COUPE 2000 Type R

I just translated the same thing... :D Damn... beat me to it  I will add that the Lantis is the 2-generations-ago name for the 323 in Japan - and the Type R was only sold in Japan.

However... I also managed to translate, quickly, some of the tracks in the box-outs on Page 8...

Grand Canyon
Swiss Alps
Special Stage Route 5
"Ace Arena"...?
Grand Valley
High Speed Ring (yes, really)
Motorsports Land
Trial Mountain
New York
Something in Italy (Italia...)
Las Vegas Drag Strip (it actually says Rasubegasu Doraggu Sutorippu).

And a couple of others I can't cope with right now.

Cars spotted:
Page 5 - Nissan R34 Skyline VspecII Nur (not a hard spot), Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A, TVR Tuscan, Jaguar XKR-R.
Page 6 - FINA BMW McLaren F1 GTR, Mazda MX-5 (post 1998 shape), Dodge Viper Oreca GTS-R, Mini Cooper S, TVR Cerbera (probably a 4.0).
Page 7 - Some JGTC Skyline which I'm sure has been up many times afore, Nissan 350Z
Page 8 - The Courage Peugeot, Toyota TS020, Nissan R390, Peugeot 206, partially obscured Renault Clio (current shape), Mitsubishi Lancer EvoVIII.

Ok, here we go. I've translated only cars with unique japanese names. You should be able to figure out the rest.

All those Miatas and no mention of the Mazdaspeed MX-5? Surely they would have to include the highest performance factory Mazda ever sold in the US...

I really want my real life car in the game - 2004 Velocity Red Mazdaspeed MX-5. Turbos are fun:tup:

The Belgian Gilette Vertigo is also not in the list. I'm quite confident that it is in the game again.

Call me crazy but I counted the cars on the first page. I did it fairly quick so I might be off by 1 or 2.
Acura 3
Alfa 6
Alpina 1
Amuse 1
ASL 2
ASton Martin 1
Audi 8
Autobiach 1
Blitz 1
BMW 7
BMW Motorsport 5
Buick 2
Cadillac 1
Callaway 1
Chevrolet 10
Chrysler 5
Citroen 3
Daihatsu 7
Dome 1
Fiat 5
Ford 8
Ginetta 1
HKS 1
Homell 1
Honda 44
Hyundai 2
Jaguar 4
Jensen 1
Lancia 4
Lotus 10
Marcos 1
Mazda 23
Mercedes Benz 12
Mercury 1
Mine's 2
Mini 1
Mitsubishi 4
That adds up to 191 cars. Double it to get a rough idea how much the two pages are together and you get ~400. No where near 650+.

Problem solved. I got a little worried there; a lot of cars I thought would make it are nowhere to be found.

The list that trEVO provided (which, supposedly, contains the 2 pages), has about 350 cars.

Really? :odd:

Could someone host those 2 pictures somewhere else and post them again please?
Thanks in advance.

I am not going to add all the vehicles from the Nissan garage there, merely the ones being photographed, which means the 280Z-T, classic 300ZX, and the old IMSA cars.

I'd say Aussie cars will be well represented, going buy the Australian Town Car icon on the recently reveiled map. Anyone whose disapointed about their favorate cars not making any list yet, just remember we haven't even seen half of the cars in the final code, let alone tracks.
