I'll say. I either vote at the church, or the sheriff station. When I got there at 1PM, there was 22 people ahead of me. By the time I got to the front of the line, there was 17 people behind me. The most I've ever seen at one time before today was 7. The officers at the station never seen this many people since they've been there. They were really surprised. It was the same on the Don Imus radio show this morning. Even Imus said he's never seen this many people before. I bet we get a 70+% voter turn out.

Indeed... The turn out is truely inspiring... It's nice to see people taking an active role in the electoral process...

Whatever your opinion, it is important to express it when it counts (elections). If you do not, you forfeit your right to make any argument against the decisions made....

oh my God, thats a suprise Kerry won. at mt school's Mock election Bush won. but last I checked it was Kerry in the lead. I really hope Bush pulls it out.

Actually, Kerry isn't in that bad a position, as California has yet to close its polls. Assuming Kerry will take that state the race would be nearly tied. It's going to come down to some very critical states.

It's nowhere near close. As of 10:15p EST, CNN is giving Bush 193 electoral votes to Kerry's 112.

Didn't see that latest report, I guess Bush is starting to pull away. You do have to remember California, one of Kerry's key states that gives him 55 electoral votes.

I voted earlier today at a small private/church school(before the long lines). No problems what so ever. Very nice people there and were very helpful about explaining the new touch screens.

Voter repression? Only a bunch of Democratic lies.

I even got "I Voted" sticker. :)

California might be close, but I'm expecting it to go for Kerry.

God, I can't believe I live in a Liberal state. :boggled:

I think we should just throw every vote from Florida out. Period.

If you want to vote "Kerry/Edwards", why put your finger over the "Bush/Cheney" button at all? It's starting to look like vocal Floridians shouldn't be trusted with a hot cup of McDonald's coffee, let alone the franchise vote.

:grumpy:

COUGH*pupik*COUGH*M-Spec*

My ballot wasn't electronic. It was a paper form. Some counties in Florida don't have electricity or running water. :dopey:

I can tell you right now that California is no where near counting even 10% of the votes. That's the Liberal Media for ya...

Fox News has 210 for Bush, Kerry 144.

Bush is also leading the popular vote. 52% to 48%

^ If the 10% thing is true thats pretty bad, as CNN had clearly stated they would not give the electoral voted until they were fairly certain a candidate had won a state.

That is bad. There are still people standing in lines here in Cali. CNN is reporting news that doesn't exist yet.

I'm not saying Bush will get California, I'm saying don't report a win if we haven't counted the votes yet.

Yea but can you marry your first cousin ? :dopey:

Why do you think we can't get our water to run or the electricity to work? :indiff: A few generations of that and you wouldn't know who to vote for either.

All 8 Constitutional Amendments also passed in Florida. Which means we now have an AMENDMENT to the STATE CONSITITUTION authorizing a high-speed rail system, followed by another amendment that REPEALS the first. :dunce:

Sigh. Its been too many years since I've seen better days... My vision is blurred, my reflexes are shot and I can't hear a thing. I can't drink, smoke or eat anything that I can't slurp through a straw. I'm grouchy as hell but I don't recall who I'm mad at. My friends are long dead and I have little to live for. I can't remember where I live and I'd be lucky to know my own name. BUT THANK GOD I STILL HAVE MY FLORIDA DRIVER'S LICENSE AND VOTER REGISTRATION CARD!!

Excuse me now, I feel the need to go pour some hot coffee on someone's crouch. :ouch:

Looks like my state of Wisconsin will go to Bush, and might be essential in the electoral votes.

It's funny how the Liberal Media (NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN) counts California a win for Kerry, yet doesn't count Florida for a win for Bush. Florida has some 90% precincts reported in, yet California doesn't even have 10%.

Hmmm...

I can drive around the corner and there is a line half a block long waiting to vote.

Fox News just reported 7% of the precincts have reported in for California.

Well if you remember the infamous incident last year with Florida, it might explain why they are being cautious.

Yeah, all of the news networks reported Gore won Florida.

As we all know now, that was wrong.

Bush just got Colorado to make 246 to 195.

Yeah, I thought it was funny to see only 5% of the votes in for California, and already the news networks gave it to Kerry. It's like as if we were a lost cause.

Where are you getting your numbers? The local news?

Don't make me post a pic.

It's on CBS's coverage...

Most news stations are going to have slightly different numbers... Until all the votes are actually counted, none of us will really know...

Oh yeah! Dan Rather is sooo truthful...

Hmmmm.... Let me say this again...

Every news station is going to have slightly different numbers, depending on when they decide to give the state to a candidate...

Until the votes are completely counted, we won't actually know, and neither will the networks...

;)

Fox News is getting real time numbers and are only counting states that have 60% or above precincts counted.
