You don't have to back anything up for being a good car. The Supra has only existed in three generations. The Supra has more than proved its racing capabilities in the JGTC sport (or Super GT if you prefer), and the amount of power it can take on a stock engine while still being reliable is phenomenal. I don't understand why this makes the car overrated.

It's the FnF that made it overrated.. applies to the rest of the "hero cars" in the movie series in question as well.. I do like the interior though, it's clearly designed for the driver, but the exterior.. it's too 90's, and looks like 4 meters of vibrator with turbos bolted on for extra twist.

That's because it was made in the '90s 💡

The exterior is why I fell in love with it when I was a little kid. The round shape and those beautiful rear lights. In fact, those round shapes and the typical lights on it is what makes it my dreamcar since I was 8 years old.

The Supra is a modern classic IMO...

Although, why is there no TRD3000GT in the vid? That was one of my favourite cars in the game (that and the NISMO 400R)

It's just as gutless as RB26DETT thanks to Japanese Government Wusses. They should had applied speed limiter only, not horsepower limit too.. However, how, if at all, was the 2JZ-GTE restricted? Did it have similar choking devices as the RB26DETT?

Please explain these choking devices, the only choke the RB26DETT has is the factory boost contol line restrictors, infact otherwise the RB26DETT engine along with the other RB's are quite free (no EGT, single good flowing cat etc).

The obvious restrictions to these engines are the factory turbos and some support items (factory MAF sensors).

Even so the RB26 and the 2JZ-GTE in standard form even is hardly gutless.

I HATE SUPRA'S, lol yeaaa right. i love the Toyota Supra why it went out of production idk and i hear the come back rumors and seen the down-side-of-ugly concepts that float around every now and again. anyways great video if the game title was Gran Turismo 2: Supra Collector Ed. or something your video would have so been the opening video on the game, great, GREAT, GREAT JOB!!!. and besides come on who doesn't like the 1JZ or 2JZ motor huh??
