Who else has Golded the Vettel challenge with DS3?

I don't know if this is considered a duplicate, so mods can take over if needed.

I've finally managed to get 3 golds on the Vettel challenge, was a long struggle and my finger still hurts:ouch:

SRF: On, Steering Sensitivity: 7, everything else off, using Right analog throttle.

Nurby: 2:07.646
Monza: 2:03.224
Suzuka: 2.09.956

Unfortunately, I don't have the replays, so this is the best proof I can provide:

Congratulations! I golded the challenge with a DFGT and it was the most frustrating thing I've done in GT5. Nothing more than respect if you did it with a DS3 👍.
 
Is that a reflection of a DFGT I see on your TV?? Lol

Congrats man, posts like these make me want to try it for myself with a DS3, and not my DFGT!

Dead set, I congratulate anyone who can gold this challenge with a DS3, considering I can't do it with a wheel :scared: (I hate you's:sly:).

This guy says he's already done it, and well done I say. Ive done it. Congratulations 👍.

Congrats homie, I managed to get two golds and a silver before the 1.06 update and finally got gold on the last one (Suzuka) after because of the steering sensitivity. My controller went through some serious hell trying to gold Suzuka without the steering sensitivity. I pressed so hard on the left analog stick on turns I literally snapped the rim around the analog stick :lol: I'm somewhat tempted to do Suzuka again since I didn't save my Gold run replay for it. Anyway, I'll take a pic like yours:

Respect. Posted before that I doubted anyone could do this with a DS3. After at least 8 hours or more I managed all gold with my Fanatec wheel. Especially Suzuka seemed impossible.
I nearly screwed up at the end, because I was so close to the ghost I was almost too excited to take the final chicane...

But again. Respect. 👍👍👍👍
 
Yes!! just golded monza with these settings. Its so much more reactive with steering sensitivity at 7. The lag that seemed to be there with the ds3 also seems to have been fixed to an extent. Just nurburgring and Suzuka now :(

All golded prepatch, will happily do proof (Although might not have an effect) might as proof do a dead 2:09 or 2:08.something(Or dead no idea of times possible now) or something on a pad. Although i haven't been on since patch so thats what ill do now :D!

GJ though congratz on gold! :D.

Edit: Ok just had an hour on suzuka with the new sensitivity my new gold time with ds3: 2:09.475. (2:08 very possible) Will happily do some livestreaming of pad and me if anyone wants it.

ahah I'm not saying I dont beleive you guys, but it would have been just as convincing if you told us.
I find it pretty funny two of you decided sticking your controller in the shot proved anything

Does it really matter that much. We should all learn to trust a little. If they are telling fibs, they're only fooling themselves so what does it matter.

haha nah, the thing is I trust them! But I would have beleived them the same if they didnt hold up the ds3.
I like it though 👍, but only because I find the notion of it funny, not because it makes me take them seriously.

Come on guys, let's not let this let this get out of hand like so many other of the threads here.

xSnakex probably didn't mean anything sinister or accusatory by his comment and I bet a lot of people do, in fact, think the same as he did but would maybe just keep it to themselves. I know for sure the thought crossed my mind but I'm happy to give anyone the benefit of the doubt as I've no reason to think otherwise. He perhaps just didn't word it very diplomatically that's all :)

Well done to you who have manged it, I doubt I ever will ;)
 
Golded Monza in an hour, at Nurburgring best managed 2:09:7xx after same time. Need to get a lot used to this track - I hate the last chicane going uphill. I have to brake just before 100 mark, then I am clueless to whether to go around the chicane which is safe but loses time, or to go above the chicane which is faster but ends spinning the car.

Thanks all! It's too bad that we don't have much road, let alone race cars on them. Oh well, we cannot have everything:lol:

As for any doubters, I would not be posting this thread if I had Golded them with a wheel. I would not do anything which would make me lose my credibility, especially considering how much time I've spent on GTP.

Congratulations to all who have achieved this feat, especially pre-patch.

Tip for Nurburgring: If you're driving with SRF on, try and trailbrake into the corners, letting the car slide sideways up to the apexes. It significantly reduces braking distance and allows you to aim the car better for acceleration. Works most effectively with ABS off.

props to both of you it would have be awseome to look at the videos do but good job yo proof that gold can be done with ds3 keep up the good work
 
I golded all 3 with DS3...have suzuka saved from 1 of my attempts time was 2.10.063 tho il try upload it later and il try the other 2 again and save replays

Skid Recovery: On
ABS: 1
Controller Sensitivity: 7
Everything else off

My time's were:

i told alot of freinds to mess with the controller sensitivity opoions and it seams that 7 its the way to go thats what seams to be most comin
