oh no no i understand. hey i just had an idea. why not run the dvd on the pc, pause the dvd wherever you want to pause, take a screenshot and post it!!!it was just an idea, though!!!

Most DVD software can take stills - I've done a couple of Futurama avatars doing that.

That Saleen shot looks like a long range photo - if it's where I think it is, coming out of the bottom of the corkscrew, that camera was a long way from the car, giving a slightly grainy look to the shot, particularly when reproduced on PC.

Also, bear in mind a couple of the JGTC Supras are running quite similar paint schemes to the Prodrive Ferraris, and the front ends are quite similar.

I shall have a go at trying to get a still off the dvd, no promises though, because I'm no techie when it comes to computers.

I've tried to do this dvd, but not getting anywhere. best I can offer is maybe a photo with a digital camera? If interested you'll have to wait until tomorrow when I can get my camera from work.

Jay

Sorry about that

The best part of the DVD is the press conference footage and they're talking about the game's accuracy. They ran a Honda S2000 on Tsukuba in the game, took the best lap time and then ran a real S2000 on the real Tsukuba track and the difference was within .4 of a second.

Just watched the DVD, it's a Nissan GTR concept LM, not a Ferrari 550. If you keep watching you can see the front of car, it having a blue nose.

Yeah you're right, just watched the dvd for the last 1/2 hr and have been pausing it, and it is a Nissan. My apologies for getting anyone excited.

Jay

The PSM magazine didn't have a DVD with it. That was the PSW magazine in England.

I have the PSM magazine issue and there was no DVD, nor was there any mention of it.

Here the link to do the conversion...
