No buy a HDD its better then a rip off memory unit.
If the 360 is never going online or have another Xbox to play Xbox games on, it's much cheaper than getting the HDD. ;)

Plus some games are designed to go much quicker when you have the HDD. Thats a fact.

If i wanted a HDD i would have bought the premium version. Heres other reasons why i didnt buy a premium:

I dont want a headset, i wont be going on live, i dont have a high definition tv, etc etc.
So why would i spend my extra 70 quid on stuff i wont actually ever need. That 70 quid will get me a memory unit and a game. Nuff said:D

Yes (but from what I have heard they are not "much quicker", as all games are built knowing people will get the Core Pack and no HDD), but it's not worth another £50 to people you see. Buying it just for loading times if they are not going online or not going to play old Xbox games is a bit ridiculous IMO.

A HDD allows you to play your own music in games more easy.

True, however, when you buy the Premium, you're not paying for the headset and other stuff. You're just paying for a X360 and HDD.

And the HD-TV works with all X360s.

You are paying for the headset if you think, and if you brought all the stuff in the Premium pack. For the core your paying more McLaren.

A X360 is a X360, Premium package or Core, you just get accesories with the Premium. Meaning it doesn't matter if you have a HDTV or not, both work on traditional TVs. You might be kicking yourself later for buying the core maybe not, but I say no to getting the X360 Core, give me more. I'm not getting a 360 before this year's over but I really am gonna get one.

You get a cable to play on a HDTV with the Premium Pack right? I think that is what he meant, that he wont need the cable with the Premium pack as he doesn't have a HDTV.

What's that got to do with load times?

Nothing. And it doesn't make it easier to play your own music in games, it makes it the only(I doubt it can be run off the memory card) source to play your music from. It's left to the game(developers) whether you can use YOUR music or not.

Damn, I just wish this cable would hurry up and get in stock! I want to play on a TFT moniter already!

First what is your Response time on your TFT montior if its 12 and low. Then it will look fine, if its higher.

It will make the games look more blurey, I am tempted to buy other stuff. But the saving up for FOS 06, DSLR and HDTV has begun now. So I will not be able to buy many games for a 360. Once I get mine through.

I have no idea.

If it's any good, we may buy a good widescreen one.

Once again, wrong. Response times are how fast the pixels can switch colours. Thus, if they were lower, that would mean less blurring, nothing to do with image quality.

Someone I know, is getting there 360 from Argos this Tuesday. So hopfully Play.com will get my 360 to me by Tuesday.

Had mine since the 23rd. I hope y'all get them soon, and make sure to add LandoAWD to your friends list. :p

I'm always on COD:2 or PGR3.

Same here, even the person getting a lawsuit against Microsoft because of the problems. Has stepped it up even more now, to the next level.

The lawsuit is silly, though. 3-5% of the consoles have issues, and that is within industry tolerances...this guy is just lazy and looking for money.

They found out one of the problems is cabling in the power supply, i still think. If Microsoft installed a fan into the power supply. It would cause less problems, for the people who have had problems.

:) Yea it shucks i've been everywhere looking for one, blockbusters, gamestation etc......u name it ive been there. But i cant find an X-box 360 anywhere.

A real pain, supposidly there are meant to be some shipping over HeRe in january im gunna try ever day.

Yea i heard about the flaws X-box 360 have eg cable setting of fire and stuff like that.
They were so eager to get their console out before playstaion and nintendo they missed some bits off it like the FAN for the cable and stuff.

STILL getting one tho even if it means my house getting burnt to shreads.

I'm still waiting! But I might have to get up at 7 again to do it, to show up at Wal-Mart. Even after going to bed after 1. I gotta pray that everyone else is too tired or hung over to pick one up

I'm amazed the Toys-R-Us needs 10 display boxes on the shelves though they're sold out.

I suspect bs since he told a woman that the boxes were empty because they kept the systems behind the counter after she asked about the Nintendo DS box.

I'll start again EBGames, Electronics Boutique, and Gamespot again.
