Just curious to know who were waiting to get GT6.

Anyway, welcome all new users. Like GT5, GT6 is an evolving product... still a lot to grow. (and some missing features... :( )

But it's fun anyway, and slowly more content is coming... Enjoy!

:)

Just got it this past week, first off when I heard there was Senna content coming, but then when I heard that GT5 was losing online capabilities I moved on and got this. Not to mention, I got a 2 yr protection from Target on it, so I can trade it in for a brand new game when I want to get one in the future.

Good luck to all of the new adopters.

All of those updates at once will take... A while... To say the least.

But all of those cars for a start...

I will buy it when pd will release all the promised updates and the game will cost 20€ (it's already at that price somewhere but it's still incomplete)

I thought a lot more people would have been waiting for GT5 to die before getting 6. Mind you, the night is still young in that respect.

I finally bought GT6 in March 2014 after renting it for a couple weeks. Bought it for $29.99. It still feels new to me since I don't get to play it very often. I did not like GT5 at all because of the standards but I am truly enjoying GT6 and look forward to playing it every chance I get. In fact I just played it again last weekend for a couple hours. Had a good battle trying to complete the 80s and under race. I was using a 69 Camaro and was struggling against the Ford GT. After a few tries and a few very close battles I won. :)

Currently trying to save up so I can get the new Vision GT Concept cars.

I have it since release but I'm doing the Career mode slowly... just did the GT3 Championship last night. It was really fun with the new GT-R (RJN GT3) from the GT Academy 2014. :)

And the S class races, with accelerated tire wear and fuel usage, always give some fun moments too.

To the new adopters, the "new" old cars, those converted to premium: Lotus Europa, Alpine 110S, Toyota 2000GT and some others such as the Ferrari Dino, Ferrari GTO are all a BLAST to drive, and they sound quite good for GT standards, try them!

I have GT6 since the beginning :)

But I know 3 friends who just bought GT6 because online mode is closed on GT5.
Among them, 2 have regretted not having bought it from the beginning ! Why ? Because they think GT6 is much better than GT5 !

Purely for balance...

I've also had it since release and find it to be a re-hashed version of GT5, complete with the same old AI, poor sounds (for the most part) and most of the features removed so they can be brought in via updates and DLC so as the PS3 could have another GT title before the focus shifts to the next generation. In other words, it feels rushed and incomplete. And not just as far as features go; there're many flaws, some may say fundamental ones, with game physics/mechanics. Oh, and if you like shuffle racing, I'm afraid there's bad news. Same goes for those who like a challenge as well.

I'm not whining, I'm providing balance to the above praise.

I think now, what with the recent closure of GT5's online services and the only online support being with GT6 until 7 comes out, is the best time to get it. I believe it will now get the attention it so badly needs . Plus it's a slightly more complete game than it was initially (Vision GT cars are already starting to dribble in again, in relatively short succession, for example, although that's perhaps unrelated to GT5's death), with hopefully more to come (course creator, b-spec, etc).

"When do you got GT6?".......what????
Oh come on. Sure, it should be "When did you get GT6" or "When will you get GT6" but, you know what's meant though, surely that's the important part. The AUP says to use English to the best of your ability and I'm pretty sure it isn't @diegorborges first language. How good is your Portuguese by the way? :p

Oh thanks! I try my best but it's definitely not my native language. I will try to fix the pool title. :)

I got the game in late March, and I don't regret it. Cars are cheaper, money is easier to earn, new tracks like Spa (never got DLC for GT5), new cars, etc. So good riddance GT5.
