who think the top gear test track should be cone less and have full runway access.
I feel that the cones ruin the track and i also feel that because we don't have full runway access that is also a big let down for me. who else thinks that PH should get rid of the cones or give an option if we want them on or off (for the sake of beginners) and in the trailer i saw that there was full runway access and no cones so were did they get the idea to ruin the track. Also the invisble walls really agreavate me either they should be moved way more further back or taken away completely.

What do you lot think please vote in the poll above^^^^

I'd rather not have the option. It'll be a bit of a benefit for the cones to be there so it can encourage careful & clean driving, therefore improving one's driving skills. Full runway access I'm confused about -- do you want access the strip for drag racing or the obstructions removed (e.g. tire walls)? And the invisible walls can be a bit of an annoyance, esp. after Bacharach. As much as I want PD to position the boundaries farther, It isn't much of an annoyance to me, other than after Bacharach.

not the tyres by chicago but to get the full runway would be fantastic

It would solve the problem of people drag racing through the track when you're free running.

Get rid of the invisible walls, or at least move them further from the track. If you do the glitch through the wall you can drive on the runway, and most of it is actually modelled (the game recognises it as solid tarmac that's above the base level of the floor.)

What i'd like to see would be that super slippy tarmac paint on the run off zones, make people keep to the course and cause them to ease off alot if they dont. Wouldn't need a cone in sight then. Bloody things

It'd be realistic if you could drive off the runway....

head of out the carpark, Head southwest on Binhams Meadow toward Dunsfold Common Rd, Turn right onto Dunsfold Common Rd, Turn right onto Dunsfold Rd/B2130, Turn left onto Stovolds Hill/B2130, Turn left onto Horsham Rd/A281, Continue to follow A281, Go through 1 roundabout, Turn right onto Pilgrims Way, Continue onto Echo Pit Rd, Turn left onto Warwicks Bench Rd, Turn left onto Pewley Hill, Take the 1st right onto Sydenham Rd, Turn left onto Jenner Rd, Turn left onto Epsom Rd/A246, At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto High St/A3100

Pull into the Burger King carpark in Guildford and join a club meet of VDubs and such like showing off your wheels while eating a whopper and some onion rings.

Can't help but think we've been spoilt by such incredible games that we expect so much more than we're given. Maybe we should all move to Liberty City..?

No. It's bad enough trying to race here as it is, not to make it worse. I'm looking forward to Forza 4's version (yeah yeah, I know) as that appears to have FULL tyre barriers across the gaps where the cheaters roam.

How is that more of a problem in free run on this track, when people are actually coming head-on at something like 400 km/h where the track crosses over?

That's one track where free run doesn't make a whole lot of sense anyway. (or longer races)

It would be good to have 2 versions, 1 with cones for those wishing to learn the track, & 1 without cones for those who already know the layout. PD love to patronize their players with stupid invisible barriers & SRF on without the option to turn it off etc!

It would be a good idea to have a drag strip based on the Top Gear track, as a separate track, they could do this with every other track in the game that has long straights too. Then imagine an online Drag Race option, where you can have proper drag racing take place, you could even have a pink slip box to tick, so the winner gets both cars.

Making the most of what you got, isn't something PD excel at.

I have to respectfully disagree with that statement.

I think PD are very clever with increasing the track count for example.
Adding rain or time change to class it as a different track is clever.

The rest of your suggestions are rather good. Yes PD did miss adding another 2 tracks to there track count with your excellent suggestions.

Just make another version of it that's cone, wall and limit free. That way the track can be used for anything but people who cry cheat can use the other one.

Sign me up for two versions.

One with walls to prevent online cheating; another with full open access for those who want to mess about/host rooms where cheating and dirty tactics go on.

Yeah, on paper it sounds like a problem, but it hardly ever happens at least in my experience (maybe it's because there's only about 2-3 people free running, and everyone else is drag racing. I don't know). Besides, people can just look at the map and slow down a little.

I'm okay with the cones there or not there I don't really care about that, but the invisible walls SHOULD be taken away! There not realistic and it's better if you can actually test cars and if they slip in the grass it won't matter because that's how it is it real life they don't have stupid annoying invisible walls in real life.
