I reckon the music from gt3 was absolute crap. I dont listen to rock & roll but for some reason prefer that type of music in racing games but GT3's music was pathetic. In my opinion the game with the best ever music was Test Drive 5 with NFS 4 comin in a close 2nd. Get Rid Of FEEDER! Get some junkieXL & KMFDM in there! also it would be much nicer if they had a larger range of music types, maybe 5 rock type tracks, 5 trance & some DnB would be gr8!

if u want rock, PLEEEEASE, none of that old slow **** the game has, it puts me to sleep...

needs ALOT more rap and techno

that was kickass...i love fever 105 & wildstile...

oooooh, the game MUST come with radio tuner for the many songs it has

I wish we could all select our own music - I personally would rather chew off my own shell than listen to any techno.

I don't listen to the game music when racing. I don't mind the in-game menu music or the selection of theme songs (although they haven't got past the remix of Manic Street Preacher's 'Everything Must Go' from the original).

I would also rather chew off Doug's shell than listen to any techo - well, maybe a little Chemical Brothers.

As long as there isn't any rap of any kind, I'll be happy. Snoop Dog's Gran Turismo Style Song was so incredibly annoying that I had to turn it off. Rap and racing do not mix in my opinon.

I think for GT4 that I won't listen to any music and concentrate on racing more. It drowns out the engine and braking too much.

Agreed - it's distracting. Plus, these are some well-replicated sounds of the best cars on Earth - I'm surprised the game even comes with music. I only listen to the music on replay, and then it's only '99 Luftballoons' or whatever version made the game.

The shell's pretty solid, so if you're swaying even a little on the techno, I'd take back that statement.

Mmm - I'm pretty comfortable with the qualifier I put on that. I'll hold.

well, there were good songs in GT, but none really good for a racing game. I cant think of any song Id like to hear when racing in GT, so I gues Ill do with what they put in the soundtrack. itll be fun to learn those songs just because racing.

Well I voted Rock, but I don't care that much, I'm currently running GT3 without any music (and the menu music was driving me nuts!)

I liked the music from GT1 & GT2 gr8 soundtracks, GT1 had cubase doing most of the music, even the Manic Street Preachers intro was good, GT2's intro music by the cardigans also went well with the intro. A bit more drum & bass would be good, the everything but the girl tune from GT2 was a good tune to drive to.

I have a very wide range of music... but for racing anything thats slow ticks me right off... peronally kick start my heart by motley crew and turbo lover by judas priest were probably the best songs on GT3.. i think that if its a very fast and exciting song... and if it makes ya just wanna slam that pedal to the floor.. thats perfect for the game.. but i'm more for ROCK AND ROLL!!!!! ALL BOARD HAHAHAHA!!!

I forgot, most of you lot got the US version comprimising of different music, can anyone give me a list of the different music in each version of the game. The european version usually gets bullcrap cause of the ****e ppl listen to in the EU. In the UK a lot of people are upset with the music they put in, i would prefer the music ive heard in the US GT2 version, some good selection there.

Why does everyone say this? Are Feeder really that crap?

Beh, well it's everyones personal taste.

I tend to listen to the music for the first few days, then it gets turned off.

All I have to say is that the Japanese Gran Turisimos soundtracks 0wnz j00.

Gotta love that Jazz/Rock combo and Daiki Kaisho isn't too bad either.

Anyway, it generally gets turned off in the end so i'm not that bothered.

As Mista Y said I usually listen to the music for a couple of days then turn it off. I then usually listen to the sound of V8's, boxas, V6's, V10's, flat 6's rotary's etc for a couple of days and then I usually play my own play list which think is good to racing to. As Blue Pheonix said I have to have something with a fast tempo, with good tune no matter to style it is and I'll race to it. It get's me going and I usually race harder to it.

BTW does anyone know if it's possible to get the Manic's re-mix of Everything Must Go which was in the original GT. I love that song anyway, but It'd be better I have that remix.Thanks.
