Title says pretty much everything. I want to know who you thinks will be world champion this year, not your favorite driver, but rather who you think will win the championship.
For me there's a big chance for Vettel to be champion again. Even if it's not my favorite driver, he seems pretty relax, have the whole team behind him and he is capable of getting when needed those last tenth that count so much in F1.

If you choose the another driver option, please make a small post saying who you think will be world champion. Thank you.

I know Vettel would, but I personally want Webber to win this time.

We won't even have any real idea who's in the running until qualifying in Melbourne.

Hopefully even then it won't be an easy answer.

wow I forgot a b on webber's name :( what a shame XD

I wonder who's the other driver someone voted from. I guess it's webber.

Well taking into consideration the pre season testing Im betting on Raikonen and hoping for Button.

Wait until the first Saturday in Melbourne, then I'll make a choice, until then, its up in the air. Actually Schumacher, just because

If I was putting money on it, I'd put money on Vettel.

If I was just choosing who I most wanted to win, probably Button.

If he has the car Alonso...
Unlucky in 2010 and seems to be dragging the Ferrari higher then it should be so if the car is good ;)

For me, it's just too early to decide who I think will win.

If it's whom I want to win, then Mark Webber gets my vote. So close in 2010...

Peter of the Rose :D

More seriously, too soon to know. As it stands, RBR and McLaren are said to be the best cars, if true that makes a WDC favorite of all 4 of their drivers.

I want Hamilton to win, but the safe bet is on Vettel.

Pre-season testing is practically worthless as a performance indicator. If you look at 2011 pre-season as an example, Massa posted fastest time on one session and on another Kubica was fastest followed by Sutil. McLaren looked to be in serious trouble, at least due to reliability problems. When it came to the actual season, however, Renault and Force India were definitely not the fast teams, Massa and Sutil were of little account, and McLaren did very well.

Yeah your best bet is to look at last seasons and how strong the team have finished, then add some info you gather from the different testing and report and wiht that make a bet lol. That's basicaly how I did it. Trying to put aside my personal preference also.

I want Schumi to win it! Though it's a tall order. Perhaps two wins? That'd be nice, then he can sign up for another season and win!

If Hamilton wins it would be nobody's other fault than him.

I want Schumacher to win but I know Vettel will take it mainly due to Kinky Kylie.

I'm expecting Vettel to make it three in a row, but I'm hoping for a Mclaren Champion though. Hopefully, whoever does win it, we have a closer title fight this year.

Can't wait for it all to start though.

Same here except the McLaren part.

Kinky Kylie is retired, she hung up her thigh high boots and is taking a much need rest. I cant wait to see what he names the next girl... Slutty sally or duckface denise

I think Vettel will take it. Who do I want to win? Pretty much anybody except Vettel. Webber, Massa, Alonso, Schumacher, Hamilton or Raikonnen would be nice.

If Hamilton can get his head in the right place and be a bit more consistent like when he won the championship then I think he is the only driver currently that can go 100% wheel to wheel with Vettel. Now I'm not saying that Button, Alonso and Webber can't go toe to toe with Vettel I just believe than with the exception of Vettel, Hamilton is the best driver on the track. Its all just a matter of whether his personal life comes into play as much as it did in the 2011 championship.

Even if I'm not an Alonso fan, you have to recon that he's on the level with Hamilton and Vettel speed wise. He's just a monster honestly. He was very impressing in 2010 and 2011 with his car. I bet any other driver would have been far back. If ferrari still shines a bit it's only because of Alonso.

100% agree there, the car is the chink in his armour. In a couple of threads people have been saying about how the 2012 car (however ugly) is very fast but just unreliable. As many in this thread have said though nobody can make a real guess/prediction until Melbourne but I'll stick with my guess based on the reports from practice so far.
