Who would like to see the Singapore GP in GT5

I'd rather have Singapore than Hong Kong. That track sucked bigtime.

Unfortunately, I don't think PD will include it as it's just another street circuit that runs once a year. Most of the tracks we'll see are the permanent fixtures such as the ring and Suzuka.

Singapore GP circuit always reminded me of SS R11 from the old GT games, not so much the layout, but the look. Especially wherer the F1 cars were going under the flyovers.

From track level though, I can imagine it looks a bit dull, there are other F1 circuits I'd rather see in GT.

Yeah,why didn't i think of that!

Face it,GT has never had a single street circuit used in real life. Unless they change the track classifications, this is likely to be true for GT5...

The Monaco GP is a street circuit and it has featured in a few GT's now. I don't think PD has anything against real life street circuits, but modelling it is probably quite challenging if it doesn't host a lot of races per year.

You mean like London, New York, Monaco, Madrid, Bern, Tokyo?...nope, they have never tried to model these. :odd:

I don't see a problem with laser-scanning such places, many of them are possible to re-create without laser-scanning or they can go to these areas at certain times of day when there is no one about.
Sure, its not as easy as booking a racetrack but it doesn't mean we won't have any chance of street circuits being in the game, real or not.

Outside of Monaco, none of those are ever used in real life. Ofcourse, modelling the roads can be done at any time of the year, but all the circuit infrastructure (pitlane etc.) isn't there. PD probably want to gather data on those things as well.

My point is that, if they can accurately model London to an acceptable standard, I see no problem modelling places like Singapore.

Modelling circuit infrastructure probably doesn't require laser-scanning.

Singapur would be nice, eventhough the races their are a bit boring.

I wish that PD would include the old Adelaide GP Track... probably the most exciting road course ever.
