Yes, the Xbox buttons are actually analogue (R and L), whereas the PS2 L and R buttons aren't analogue...:\

I had this discussion with Flerb - they ARE analogue.

The D-pad buttons are pressure sensitive to 32 different levels - the finger even more so. The analogue sticks are sensitive to 256 levels - however to visit each one requires a movement of about 0.3mm.

So the D-pad is part analogue and the sticks are part analogue. Neither are true analogue.
