Who's buying the New DLC? Please support PD

Reading people's comments in the news section on GTPlanet I've seen a huge negative response to what this DLC contains, personally I can't wait to get my hands on those cars, I think people underestimate those two Volkswagen R's, they are 4WD, 188KW/255HP! Once tuned they will be awesome! and yes, I know it's another Nissan GT-R, but this one is 3.0sec to 100kmh! It will most certainly be a new top car for the people who like to drag.

So please support PD, buy the DLC! and please if you don't like GT5 anymore or never have stop bothering the real fans, cause it almost feels embassassing for us to see you bagging it so much on a dedicated GRAN TURISMO FORUM! The place for the fans, not haters.
 
Im one of the many haters on the new DLC pack. i simply think PD aint doing enough compared to what forza is doing in their DLC's. But yes i will sure buy the DLC no matter if i like it or not ;)

As soon i will re-connect myself to internet will buy that DLC pack and another and another till GT6:)

I'm buying mate, just begging for an old MKII Escort, some European classics. Dirt 3's car list with it's DLC is what I'm missing from GT5! I would sooner PD took my money.
 
As I earn money by working, not falling to me from the sky, I'm gonna buy only DLC that brings something useful for me. I'm not gonna give my money away for nothing. I bought the first one because of Spa, I'm not gonna buy this one, 'cause it brings generally just 4 cars I wouldn't be driving anyway.

And as you apelled to people "buy it to support PD," I appel to people "don't buy, don't support PD in making lousy good-for-nuffing DLC, support them for making good, quality DLCs bringing useful new stuff."

But in the end - it's your money, do with it whatever you see fit.
 
I'm not.

I have a feeling they'll put tons of DLC's for money and I'm not falling in the pattern. I'll wait for a better offer and buy it when it will be included in something bigger.

I've already paid approx. 110$ Canadian for the Collector's Edition and I bought the last DLC for about 12$, so 122$ spent already for a videogame... I'm ashamed.

It's the "Pokemon craze" now I think, people are caught in the "gotta catch em' all" with the cars. 4$ for 4 cars ? No. And since MANY people will buy it, it will be 50% off pretty soon.

I've already got screwed with Red Dead Redemption, I bought all the DLC's and less than a month after, everything was 50%.
 
Will buy all DLC as it becomes available, just keeps adding to an already massive game,why do people keep knocking Kaz and his team, I also own Forza 4 and to be honest much prefer GT5,got to level 150 in Forza in 2 weeks compare that to a spec carreer mode no contest,

Not really, it's open to anyone who has any opinion.
 
I personally like all 4 cars in the DLC. It will be a first day buy for me. I still have funds left over from buying the first DLC.
 
The new VW dlc cars look great, can't wait to get them as they should be outstanding at 500pp online
 
I'm getting it but not so much specifically to support PD since I do think it's a bit weak for DLC (would've preferred tracks, or at least a track). I'm mainly getting it because I like the Scirocco and I'd like to have the bonus Kart (I bought the first DLC). I'd like this one more though if they included the older Sciroccos as well for a couple extra bucks. Not sure why but I just always liked the looks of those cars and the old Golfs.

Yep, me too, although I wouldn't exactly claim to be a hater. I'll say now that I'm 99% certain to buy any and all DLC PD care to sell me. Doesn't mean I think they should take the "proverbial", though. And I don't think anyone can argue that we needed another GTR.
 
I still have a little over 4 bucks left in my account, so I'll get it. Wish they would do some American cars, though. Thats one of the reasons Ive been wanting to get a box for FM4. They have a 1988 Fiero GT, talk about sweet. Not to mention a lot of other American cars that GT doesnt have, which is a shame, since every one will miss out on some very capable cars (Cobalt SS turbo, Solstice GXP coupe, Cavalier Z24, Beretta GTZ, Ford Probe...). At least they limited this DLC to a single Skyline.
 
I only want the Scirocco... If we can buy each car individually... I'll buy it :)... if not... I'm not getting it... GT5 has enough GTR's... :grumpy:

I am not a fan. I am a consumer of a particular product. They are providing a forum to collect feed back and I am going to contribute.

Somewhere between a fanatic and a hater lies a reasonable person.

I used to own one of those... lol. Not a bad car and the girls used to love it, and when they loved it so did I (though it wasnt the BEST performing car it was still pretty nimble... I have to say though, I remember one time the back end slid out on me in a corner.... It is a BEAST to re-correct once you start loosing it... I had my window down and spun out into a corn field doing 360s... good times... lol)

And on topic... I dont really like the car selection on the DLC myself but I will buy it. I have no problem every few months endorsing a great game again :)

And the free updates are worth WAY more than the car pack
 
Definitely will be getting this new DLC pack. I always liked the aggressive looks of the Scirocco, and to see it coming in a GT5 DLC pack in 5 days nearly made me fall over crying with tears of joy!
P.S. Be sure to expect the return of Reviews From The Red Valley beginning with this automotive masterpiece.

I had an 84 2m4. While it was one of the slowest cars I've ever driven, it was still way fun to drive. It was my winter car one year, talk about fun, spent most of my time sideways. Never lost control of it, but definitely has dated suspension. Sure would be a fun car to have in GT though, even if its mostly for historic value. Sure with the right tune it would rock on technical tracks though.

You are right though, the updates alone are worth the price of the DLC just to support PD. Kaz and the team really does do a lot for their fans. They seem to be taking a lot of our ideas seriously, so I will support them for it.
 
Any new cars are welcome,I will buy whatever PD throws up.👍 Also it's about time we got to change and paint wheels on standard cars!
 
Only like 1 car out of the DLC IF cars had resale value in GT all but the GT-R would be sold instantly for credits.

As far as I'm concerned cars should be Bigger, faster and have more grip from the aero package. Not smaller, lighter models... and if their real life versions are set up to run on Ethanol not petrol even better.
 
Now that last bit I agree with,would be a good addition.👍 But yeah I like smaller lighter cars aswell.:)

I can understand your comment. You are making the argument that we should buy this DLC to show PD that we want more DLC and therefore they will make more. However, I can clearly understand those with a different viewpoint. This current DLC is very underwhelming. Basically only 2 new cars, 1 car with only cosmetic upgrades, and 1 car with some performance upgrades that likely could be easily accomplished in the tuning shop. One could easily make a case for not buying this DLC to show PD that the community won't support mediocre DLC. If the last DLC sold 1 million copies and this one only sells 500,000 then it would send the message that they need to put more into the DLC packs.

Personally I'm really not sure which way I'm leaning right now. I'm quite apathetic to this current DLC, but 4 dollars is really nothing to me, so I'm torn.
