Favorite vocalists or just people who scream?

Anyway in no order:

John Lennon [only with the Beatles]
Sting [only with the Police]
Maynard James Keenan
Freddie Mercury
Paul McCartney [with The Beatles or Wings] to round out the top 5.

So I didn't really like, Lennon, McCartney, or Sting with their solo careers.

I'm sure I could think of some better ones than those. Maybe later I will.

i like davey havok from AFI. anyone who has listened to some of their albums will know what I mean. And Im not talking about you high school poseur punks.

and a poser punk would like a band like AFI for the image. regardless of how they sound.
 
davey havoc from AFI is damn good. also lynn strait from snot...unfortunately he passed away a few years ago.
 
robert plant, from led zeppelin. such a dinamic voice.
also, I like very much pearl jam's eddie vedder. very dinamic voice too, and beautiful to boot.
and, of COURSE, Tori Amos.

you guys have obviously never heard of Stretch Armstrong. the lead singer, Chris(i think?) is hands down the greatest screamer of all time. oh yeah and he can write some pretty insane lyrics to boot.

That one kid from Linkin Park always seems te be screaming at the top of his lungs. I wouldn't be surprised if he loses his voice somewhere in the near future. I'm mean, they are good, but damn, pay attention to it and you'll ask yourself how he does it every time!

The best screaming which I have seen LIVE must have been the singer from the Deftones... again this is about screaming only ;)

Are these those hard metal bands with the high pitch singers? How can you stand that? To each his own.
 
I don't really like "screamer" music as it is, but if their accomplishment in the music industry is to cause a pounding migraine, then Chester Pennington from Linkin Park won in my opinion.
 
yeah Chester from Linkin Park takes my vote...I love his voice.....as for getting a head ache...2 words.... "boy band"...I get a migraine everytime I hear one...occasionally accompanied by severe seizures and blood pouring out of the ears...damn those backsync boys!..(back sink....get it?)... ( backstreet boys + Nsync = backsync boys).....
