Who's Your Favourite Fictional Character?

There have been similar threads, granted, but I want to know who everyone's favourite hero is and why. It can be anyone from a book, movie, comic, TV show, or any other fictional media. It can be a hero or a villain or whatever.

For me it's a tie between Neo (big surprise) and Batman for heros and Agent SMith and Darth Vader for villains.

If this thread is a re-hash, I apologize, feel free to shut it down. But I searched the forums for "favourite hero" and came up with no matches that were exactly the same...

My favorite Movie character I think was either Mel Gibson when he played "Porter" in PAYBACK, he was a serious badass, and then John Travolta in "GET SHORTY" take no crap shylock , who was actually a nice guy

Nice. The fact that she was nominated for Best Actress for Aliens is pretty darn impressive. Not many sci-fi movies are even considered at Oscar time...

I hope you don't mean Violator from Spawn the movie. I hate John Leguizamo. And that movie was such a letdown.

Agent Smith is a bad mammajamma, though. Believe me, I know!

Yeah, I have to side with you. Porter was a no nonsence,cold blooded, mofo. Top chracter.

Bad guy : I quite like Fouchet from Badboys. He didn't give a damn about anyone not even his own people. "I just put a bullet in the chemist. He ****ed with my timetable." Ha!

Tcheky Karyo plays a bad guy really well. Check him out in Kiss of the Dragon as well. Same kind of villain, but a little more creepy...

I have that movie aswell. Great kung fu from Mr.Lee as usual. I only saw it last Tuesday so it's still fresh. Was he called Inspector Richard? Anyway he was nasty, and would always get away with it cleanly. I remember he was chasing Jet in a car tunnel with him in his gun sight and blatantly shot two or three drivers and didn't give a ****.

Sadly, very few people I know have seen this movie, even though it's really good. The fight scenes are top notch, especially when Jet Li fights those two twins and then the room full of martial arts students.

Plus it has, in my opinion, one of the best villain deaths in any movie. The so-called "Kiss of the Dragon" is way more devastating than, say, the five-fingered heart tap palm thingy from Kill Bill vol.2, which was so stupid I won't even bother talking about it.

didnt want to state the obvious to people who know.

anyways he is basically the essence of dragonball (z and gt) which i think is the single best fictional story ever.

thats just me cos i grew up with it. i only saw the ending last year after hundreds of episodes. after reading the likes of lord of the rings i still think dragonball is the best.

therefore goku is the best!

(btw he has to be the most powerful/hardest character ever; and dont give me that neo/matrix crap to say otherwise)

Yes, Goku is an awesome Character. Much better than Gohan and Trunks and all those other people. A close second to Goku is Master Roshi just for being so funny (and dirty!) and Krillin. Piccolo comes after them.
