whose still got a NES? *now a club*

add another nesser...

my stepfather tore down a house around here. he found 40 nes carts, a nes Advantage peripheral, and a still working (!) zapper. after giving the carts a thorough clean (and getting about half of them working), I've finally gotten 2 of the three 8 bit Caslevanias, an early Square game, the first two marios, and even the original Punch Out and Ninja Gaiden (1 and 2)
 
Between my girlfriend and I, we have 4, 3 of which work. I plan to eventually convert the one which doesn't into a micro-ATX jukebox/DVD player.

(one cartridge has Mario 1, Duck Hunt, and Track & Field like TopHat mentioned a year ago + the big grey mat)

+lots more that got handed down from older cousins and whatnot. Quite a few crap ones, but I know theres some more good ones that I just can't remember.
 
Oh, add me! Yes, Me the 13 year old, have an NES. Incredible, isn't it? I got it before the PS1 came out.
 
I got an nes, the golden years of nintendo becuase now nintendo totally sucks they are a bunch or errogants and greedy.

I still have 2 Famicoms lying around somewhere. Each one belonged to both of my parents. My dad was too lazy to look for them and bought a few old games on the Wii's VC. He's addicted to the Wii now because of it.
 
I thought i've posted in this thread before but I guess not. I've got a top loader and a front loader in my living room, then numerous working/nonworking units stored away in boxes. When they're 50 cents at a yardsale it's kinda hard not to buy them.

And I never thought I would say this but there may be no need for them now that I have just figured out how to play any and all nes/snes games on my wii without modding...even duck hunt!!

I don't have any NES's but I have one fully functional mint SNES, a six year old "big block" PS2, one year old PS3 and one 4 year old PC. I have 22 games for the SNES, 40-50ish PS1 and PS2 games, 13 PS3 games, 10-15ish PC games, and to top it off I got 20-25ish Nintendo DS, gb color, and gba games.

I'm not selling any of those games or consoles yet.:sly:

i miss the NES, i have an emulator on my DS, does that count? i can reverse-clock and over-clock the games with the L & R triggers :lol:

I also have an SNES, and I only play Killer Instinct on it.

Sorry, i don't think that counts. :P. I also use the emulator... wait, on the DS? I want to do that but don't know how. :(

Add me and you will have an emulator for your DS, just make sure you got a modchip of some kind
 
i have myself a NES, it is in pieces because im trying to clean it, but i got lazy and gave up like a year ago now i probably wont even be able to get it back together, but i have had it forever now, since it first came out back in the 80's. i love the hell out of it, and all the games that came with it. much to many to name lol.

Lol, i can't get mine apart, i got the top off, but the screws are too tight to get the rest of it off to clean it. :(
 
I remember when I was like 2, I would have my dad pull the thing out for me and start it up so I could play zelda. He would always pretend to sit and read the newspaper until he would find me doing things wrong, in which case he would tell me what to start doing. Sometimes he would get so frustrated he would take the controller from me and would play himself and I would sit in his lap and watch him play.

Ah, the good old days.
 
I'm getting one for christmas tomorrow. I no it's not as cool as having one of the originals from when you were a kid, but I'm still excited about playing tecmo bowl. I can't wait to have 500 yards with Bo Jackson.
