wht about the mclaren??

Hey has anybody ever wonderd y cars like the mclaren f1 and lambourghini's arent in any gran tursmo games?? it seems that thy are only in need for speed for some reason. i think it be better if these cars were in the game cuz its sorta advertising the car. like if ppl say the car is good in the game there sale may go up. take the movie "the fast and the furious" after that sales for a supra went way way up. i just wanna know wht ur opinions about this are.

do you want to know why my son its because ea have the rights for all them cars for its need for speed series yes that includes ferraris porches lambos beamers and mercs only gt has a few bmws and mercs
 
The Mclaren was NEVER in GT3. The only cars to my knolwedge that you can get if you have a gameshark/sharkport are

1. Diablo JGTC
2. Porche GT3
3. Lancia Stratos
4. Lancia Stratos WRC
5. A funny odd TVR cerebra (that says honda on it??)
6. R34 Skyline N-Spec (not too sure about that one)

These cars are only in the US and Japanese versions of the game

If you are talking about the Mercedes CLK GT1 car that was in Le Mans. They took it out of GT2 not GT3 and this was because during lemans the car decided to fly up in the air and flip around about a million times and smash into a tree (no joke)
 
Well im pretty sure you have to have a Game Shark and a sharkport (which connects your PS2 to your PC). Then you need to download a program but i dont know what its called just ask in the hybrids forums and someone should be able to help ya.

:gt: Need to be licensed to officially include manufacturers in the game :floppy:. Most game makers can get away with copying designs of cars :car: if they don't include a badge (eg Viper look a like in GTA3 :rolleyes: )

Until :ferrari:, :mclaren: etc sign on dotted line of a Polyphony contract we ain't gonna see any of their cars... :shakehead

If it bothers you a lot you could always email the manufacturers? :computer:
 
dude i saw this gt4 wish list site, and they were sending emails to car companies and getting replies... they sent one to saturn(lol not that big of a deal.) and they replied and said the email would be moved up to higher authority to be reviewed... so yeah... its cool
 
check out my thread PORSCHE if you want some secret cars....oh and you only need a sharkport to get them.....YOU DO NOT NEED A GAMESHARK!
 
the lemans car was MB CLK GTR not GT1. the Porsche GT1 was another LM car.

It would be nice if some of these cars got into GT. specifically BMW's nicer cars and ferraris. I could care less if lambos made it into the game. Theyre ugly, slow, showoff cars ("look at me i have tons of money, look at me")

Okay, theyre not slow. they put a huge engine in it. good for them.

You wanna know why they're aren't exotic cars like the McLaren F1? Well the reason is Licenseing. EA has all the cool car licenses while Polyphony doesn't. ;)
 
High Stakes :thumbsdow .... doesn't compare to the Real Racing Sim.

EA and there licenses :banghead:
Still it could be said :gt: have the majority of the best ones? All the Racing Cars :nissan: Skylines, :honda: NSX, :toyota: Supra etc... :D
