Why 20M limit?

Seriously the only reason why I quit this game is because of the 20mil cap. It'sso stupid to put a cap. The feeling of having an abundance of credits would be awesome, but having that 20mil cap just wrecks everything! Just remove the cap or I'm going to hate gran turismo forever!
Being able to have endless amounts of credits would feel empowering and would give me a reason to continue playing even after finsihing the game. I could set new goals.

Plus I hate buying cars that are 20mil and then being left with 0 credits. If there was no cap you could buy these expensive cars and upgrade at the same time!

You can't be serious OP. You hate the game just because of that, lol. Wow, just wow.

EDIT: You do know that your Bobs can also hold money. Not sure if there is a limit, but I have 3 that have over 15 mil. each. Maybe that will change your perspective, lol. Come on back, the waters warm, lol.

See my edit. If I were to cash in one Bob, that amount would double with my log in bonus. How much damn money to you need, lol.

Yep! Having 50mil credits would feel empowering, and when i complete the game it'd give me a reason to actually keep on playing and I could set new goals. Plus youd be able to buy 20mil cars and be able to upgrade them at the same time. I hate how we go straight down to 0 credits.

Maybe we just value different aspects of the game more than others. But there are a lot who are against the cap, it isnt just me.

The purpose of the 20,000,000 limit is to encourage both thrift and industriousness, qualities the Japanese and many Americans highly admire.

Well, if money is an issue with him, I'm sure he will be most unhappy with the resale value, lol. Then another thread about how he didn't get back how much he paid for the game, lol. Do we really want that?

Sorry OP, just having some fun with you as your reason for hating the game is a bit funny....to say the least.

I dont like call of duty. i just wanted some further plateaus to reach thats all, the cap prevents that :/

Spend your money ... and then make some more :)

I've got 1134 cars , been playing since release day in 2010 , and never once been annoyed by the 20 mill cap .

It can't be just me on the other side of this coin 👍

I see what you guys are saying, and yeah I understand that there are many others things to achieve on the game, but you see... I dont even feel motivated to accomplish any of these things when i see 20M credits... i think well that's annoying, i know i could get much more... sorry i cant explain it lol ITS JUST SO FUSTRATING!!!

Think of it like this...

You can't have more than 20,000,000 because racecar.
And because if you had like 8,000,000,000,000,000 Cr. you would ruin the entire economy of the world (over time). That isn't something GT is going to account for anytime soon.
 
Yes the cap is pointless and stupid.

Don't buy 20 million cr cars. Dupe their tickets and get them for free. This is the best way to get expensive cars. Save your money for cheaper cars and modifications.

Their limit is basically 20 million each. Each and every credit over 20 million is lost upon claiming the money.

Plus you only need to have Bob on 10 mill , log in 5 days in a row before you empty him .... ahem , not like that if you follow :lol:

And voila !! 20 mill again :lol:
 
They can hold money aye... interesting! but still itd be more appealing to me to see the total credits all at once. Even if each bob can hold 20mil ... i dunno.. still would prefer the cap to be just gone. Actually maybe even jsut make the cap 1 credit under a billion so : 999,999,999. I would be happy with that

True. I've just never had no real need to cash them in and their money just sort of accumulated over time. No doubt I'll lose some when I do finally cash them in but thats really the least of my worries. 20 mil. comes pretty easy nowadays. I've even bought every color of X2010's just to get rid of my regular bank account. Running out of things to spend money on, lol.

But you would be able to buy all the cars in the game more than twice over with that much credits - the 20million cap is sufficient I think because that's the prices of the most expensive cars in the game. So what if you buy a Ford Mark IV or a Ferrari P330 for 20million and then become penniless, you get a trophy for it at least, and then you can just build up the credits again by racing a few more times on the online seasonals, either Ferrari F1 or 650pp Nurburgring, whatever, you'll soon have another twenty million again.

I also think this means that you have to keep buying cars in order for the credits to not stop coming in. And I guess once you have all the cars in the game, you probably won't need credits anymore anyway - why have 1billion credits sitting doing nothing and taking up half the top of your game screen?
 
The cap is kinda strict. It seems like every time you buy a $20 mil. car there is a nice LMP in the UCD lol.

It would also be nice to un-share a Bob without collecting the credits. That way you really could store the money without going over the $10 mil. ($20 mil. @ 200% bonus).

Right now I'm being held back by the limits imposed by PD. I have $10 million in credits, I have bobs that I need to cash in, I can't have more than $20 million credits and I can't gift more than one $950.000 car a day. I would much rather give a nice car or cars to friends that need them but instead I'm stuck buying multiple redbulls :(.
