Why always stupid rain!!

I really dont understand this, everytime i want to drive in Arcade the 24h Le Mans and Nurburgring Nordschleife change wheather/change time it always rains

I mean always - i never started a race in dry conditions
It doesnt matter to me witch part of the day the race starts (night, dawn, mornning......) But it always starts with rain

The reason is that i want to shoot some great photos but i cant because rain is ruining everything - and when it stops raining then the rain spray is still there and track is still wet

And i cant drive how i want to drive because of stupid rain

PD please make in new patch race time setup - so we can adjust race time and wheather at start of all change time/change wheather races....

So what do you think or any advice how can i remove the stupid rain at start?
 
Tell me please how???? I just checked the tracks and there are not the Le Mans and Nordschliefe with change time
They are only with change time/change wheather, but what bothers me why does it always starts with rain - it never starts in dry
 
Yeah it's annoying, in arcade mode the tracks with both weather and time changes can only ever be run with both active. You can't just run at night, or just raining.

Check again. I'm sure there are tracks named La Sarthe 2009 and Nurburgring 24h without "Change Weather/Change Time" next to them.

There is. But what he wants to do (as do I) is race with time change, but NOT with weather change. That isn't possible currently in arcade, it's neither or both.

the problem already discussed in the thread is he wants change time enabled for picture taking but it is impossible to have it without change weather as well.
 
i dont mind to race with whether change, but why cant i start the race in dry conditions - that is the problem

Why is it always raining at start of race - i dont want to wait 20 min till it maybe be completely dry...
 
I think your game has turned against you. Like mine :)

I started A-spec 1000km Suzuka. It rained. I thought - oh well, it is bound to rain in this Weather/Time change race. Might as well get it over with as soon as possible and I'll have a more relaxed finish. And guess what - it rained through the whole freaking race.

So I come to the A-spec 24h Le Mans. It rains at the start. I think to myself - well it might rain now, but it will end soon and I will be able to enjoy the race. It rained from start and through the whole night racing and stopped just as daylight was starting... It was very hard to drive in night and in rain.

And the last one - A-spec 24h Nordschleife. Same crap. It rained from start and through the night and only stopped in the morning. Honestly, about 7 hours into race, when it was pitch black night on track and with pouring rain I was sooooo close to quit the race and restart it...

Anyway - my point is - if you get to the race and it rains, quit it. Restart until you get a dry start. It might start raining later, but it's definitely not gonna rain so long.
 
but at the screen where you choose the car - after i select it - it always wants me to choose rain tires...
For me completely 24h sunshine at LM a-spec and other endurance too
 
You should race those tracks in your online lobby. There you have a lot options to define weather and time.

If you want to save the replay, just start a race and finish it, even if you´re alone.
 
A good option is to exit from the race and come back until it's not raining in the start. Also paying attention to the sky helps too before you start a race.

It's the only reason why I've been able to tolerate three 24H races without raining.
 
In My Lounge & Open Lobby you can choose between "Sunny" & "Rain", then tick the "Fixed" option & it will stay how want it to.

Yea this. Poor dude, I never get rain haha. Sometimes hazy but
I've only had one rain race I can recall - in the super gt series.

Dream Series i get 3 rain races every flipping time, on the other hand i could run bob for two weeks and he may get 3 rain races. I'd like to be able to turn it off.
 
It always rains at Le Mans.
You're not god, you can't control it.
Kaz is god, he can control it. :)

Racing at night in the rain at Le Mans is basically the entire point of the race, that's what it's known for.
 
I don`t know why they can`t implement option to set time/weather in arcade mode just like in multi... But hey, we can race b-spec online... Che-zus...

I wish we could do that in real life. Peek through the curtains to see what the weather is doing, and go back to bed until it stops... :p

Good advice, though. A bit like the age-old method of getting the opponents you want :D
 
Hey thanks guys, yesterday i did that in lounge and there are far more options - and i shot some incredible photos

Looks like the lounge is the only option for now if you dont want rain....
