Why in the world are "glitch/bug posts" considered to be rants.?.?

Fine.., it makes total sense to close or move posts that discuss personal issues with that game that are clearly subjective.., but to label legit and confirmed bug reports as rants makes no sense.

Sorry mods.., but I just don't see why they're bundled with the long list of rants. If a post sheds light on a serious bug or glitch that has a major impact on game play.., why label it a rant?

Why would you complain to EA on a thread here? Totally pointless.

If you want something fixed post it in there bug reports on the official site.

Largely in part because you're actively expressing a disappointment you have within the game. The rant thread keeps everything nice and composed. Just the way it should be.

Besides and as mentioned above, if you really want to report a bug and/or glitch do it on the official NFS/EA forum or NoGrip.

Well to answer your questions..,

1: Although this is a GT forum.., It has already been noted that the devs DO frequent this site to read posts.

2: Last time I checked this was the SHIFT forum. If it's a Shift related post.., even regarding bugs.., why not post it here if the devs are following the site..??

I suppose if you think this is the spot, have fun. So far it doesn't seem to be getting you very good results.

I have some of the same problems, but I reported them on the official site/thread.

We close all bug & complaints threads and direct everyone to use the one thread for all their misgivings and bugs/issues they have. There are two reasons for this. The first is that it keeps the forum a tidy place. The second is that as you yourself said the developers (in particular Ian Bell) has frequented this site and read a lot of the concerns that users have. He has one place where he can view all concerns that his customers have. Developers don't just fix the bugs in patch releases. They sometimes add extra things or change parts of the game that might not be a bug but is annoying or not optimal to users. Therefore one thread of customers issues and concerns makes a lot of sense.
