Why are the AI competitors so SLOW???

If you've played B-Spec then you know the answer to "why are the AI cars so slow". It's because they love to use the brakes. There is nothing that makes an AI driver happier than braking. On a corner, on a straightaway, doesn't matter. They love their braking.

now that you mention this.. does anyone remember that GT4 glitch where the AI cars would randomly slam on their brakes in the middle of the Mulsanne just over the crest of the hill. and slow down to like 30 mph until someone nailed them right in the back? good times avoiding these... especially if you were driving an LMP or whatever and had maybe two seconds to avoid him...

The AI is hit or miss in terms of good.

They do have good lines at Indy Road, Cape Ring, and High Speed Ring.

They do NOT have good lines at Cote D'Azur or the Nurburgring.
 
The AI breaks too much, that's all. Other than than, AI drives pretty well on average.
